I think that'd probably be penalized as an illegal formation in the NFL.

actually not. i though so too, but i guess its legal for the center to turn around and hand the ball back to the qb. so once he does that, all players can move. the play is actually going on even though he is walking towards the sideline.

nope. from what they said on sports radio its not illegal. i dont know why. i think it works cause the players are saying wrong ball so when the center stands up to hand off the ball no one charges in. cause in real football once u move like that u are going to get blown up. so i think thats part of the reason why the center and or the qb start saying wrong ball. but from what i heard its legal to do, but no one does it.

It's a side snap, which is perfectly legal... it just doesn't leave the center in a good blocking position.

That would never work in the pros, the second the ball is moved the D is off and running and most likely killing the QB.

It's pretty amazing it worked in a high school game from the looks of another youtube video. When I played D back in high school we were taught to go on the movement of the ball and play until the whistle blows.
