Me and alot of PS3 users online are really frustrated with the running game online because there basically is none. This needs to be addressed because your forcing the sixaxis capability on us and its terrible that when you break for a big run or a critical play that if you move your controller slightly that your runner will leap in the air. I lost 2 games last night because of this. This is a videogame, you shouldn't have to hold the controller like a statue to make sure the runner doesn't leap in the air and you don't want him to. Also having the sixaxis on makes the QB move and try to evade someone when you don't want him to when your trying to throw the ball sometimes. Most of the games I've played online nobody runs the ball that much, I don't think its because of lack of skill doing it. Its probably because there afraid there RB will leap in the air eventually if they run to much. I don't understand the devs would have the option to turn it down/off for offline play but not online? I'm not posting this for flame wars, or Buy a 360 comments. This game is only for 2 systems and they need to address problems on both, especially this PS3 one. I beat a guy the other night because he was about to score a TD to win the game but his RB leaped in the air with 2 seconds left in the game to lose the game. It didn't even feel right that I won because in all honesty he would have scored on that play. He messaged me later and said that this is annoying how 2k won't turn off the sixaxis for online play. Its getting to the point now that online is not fun anymore because of this problem.

That is very annoying. It dosnt happen too much for me. It will happen on average 1 or 2 times a game at most, just crappy when its on a 3rd or 4th down. I have played a friend online about 6 times, in these 6 games it never happens to him, guess its the fault of the person doin it. Also, the friend runs alot.

I can honestly say it has never happened to me on PS3, not sure how hard you are bashing the buttons or thrashing around when you play but my players have never dived etc when I havnt wanted them to.

you can always sell your PS3 and get a 360, that's what I did and viola problem solved.

I don't see a problem with this. The controller isn't that sensitive that if you slightly move you runner will dive headfirst. I don't really run that much, I'm a passing kind of player. But, i do use the motion controls alot to evade with my QB which has actually saved me a lot. So I fully endore the SIXAXIS motion controls in this game :)

I could have sworn I posted that that there should be no buy a 360 or flame war going on in this thread? If there is a problem on 360, people shouldn't buy another system 2K needs to fix the issue. Anyway as far as the moving the controller, its wierd, some games online I hold the controller still as possible, and the runner still leaps, and other games I've actually moved the controller during running and the runner doesn't leap? Makes no sense, how 2K has this set up, that's why I'm guessing some people experience more than others, but the point none of us shouldn't have experience it at all. Buying another system or buying a PS2 controller adaptor isn't really fixing the problem either. If we don't get 2K devs attention about this and other glitches and bugs on both systems there never gonna fix them. We all want to support 2K and there football games, but they need to address these issues that the buyers have if they want this game to do well, since its only on 2 systems.

^^^
But this isn't an "issue". Some of us actually use the motion controls to our advantage while others, like yourself, seem to not be able to use it. It is only an "issue" if it is a glitch or some unavoidable mistake, etc.
I can understand your frustration, but 2K won't do anything about it if there is a part of the community that is actually enjoying it...

If 2k sports would just give the option of disabling sixaxis for online play these threads would cease!
