Wow, after talking to other gamers, i was suprised at the # of people who have to already drop out of the tournament due to 2K's playoff scheduling. For most people with a real job this tight schedule makes it impossible to play all the games. Anyway, just wanted to see how many people would be missing a playoff game due to scheduling.

I maybe might be able to play the 1st two round games. Round 3 if I am lucky. But after that, it is going to be very difficult for me to fit in games under those tight schedules.

Hey guys, I work 45+ hours a week and I get out of work at 5pm everyday. I can make the 4-8 window, unless they schedule me for a 4:30 match on a friday. This works for me, and my deepest apologies for those of you who cannot. Your competition will be missed, seeing as lesser players (Possibly) will take your places.

But see, if your on the west coast and you get off at 5pm, thats 8pm EST. So even though we have the same exact schedule as YOU, we are penalized because we're pacific time. That was my point.

I think the schedules are as fair as possible. Most people are out of work by 5pm eastern time.

The thing is we won't be replaced. All those people that can't make their times, their opponents get free wins. That in the end of it causing a much smaller tournament then the 256 actually qualifying.

Except if you are in pst..then that's 2, and I don't know anyone that gets off that early.

Then when they DO get off/home it'll be around 5-6 their time making it 8-9est, for some people they have to get up early and thus can't stay up too late.

No matter what times they put, people will complain. Deal with it, and move on.

It isn't necessarily the times exactly. It is the fact that you have to play three days in a row in the same time interval. They should spread the tournament out more, there is no sense in rushing the tournament to end so quickly as it wouldn't make that big of a difference. Those that want to play in the tournament will still be there.

Yea, why have three straight days at the same time interval? Why have games on Monday nights(afternoons for other times) Lot of questions. I believe the tourney admin said that you could possibly reschedule your game with your opponent if they agree. Many people are off Sat & Sun's after 5:00, if they even work those days, why not just leave those 2days? Who knows...

Despite all of the complaints, the tourney is being run pretty well. I think a lot of issues need to be looked at in the future though...

We have adjusted the times slightly. The dates still remain the same but the times are more specific.

It will be interesting if I can actually make those times, that would be if I don't have to work weekends during the championship rounds... Not looking so good for me in the long run but possible. If I make it far enough, maybe I will take just one day off if I need to.

Never mind, I'm out of this tournament. I have front row seats to go see the Dallas Cowboys against the Miami Dolphins on the 16th, I'm right behind the endzone as well. Having a 3-5 EST time slot leaves me out of this. You would think they would give like 2 days once the 2nd round starts. Back to 2K always trying to rush their tournaments...

 Welp, Thanks to the re-work in time scheduling, I may not make it. Saturday's are my band's major practice day. I'm also in Central standard time so that bumps everything up an hour for me.

this sucks why only a 2 hour window? thats too strict, there should atleast be a 6 hour window you have to take in account different timezones and work schedules jesus.
