Last year 2k did something that changed online gaming forever, co-op ranked online matches, problem was it was not for NBA2k7 instead it was for NHL2k7. I have friends, lots of them actually and we need a basketball we can all play online. We did try to get some custom 2v2 matches going but it was always a pain to get going and I think out of the 10 or so we played only one was worth the time.
When my boys come over the first thing they want to do is load up NHL2k7 and play ranked 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 online matches. Ranked 1v1 is fine but a console is meant to be played with friends. So I would like to know if 2k will add this feature in NBA2k8 this year, in fact it may even dictate my purchase.
If NBA Live 08 adds this feature and 2K doesn’t I will buy Live simple as that. I don’t care if the game is not as good as long as I can play ranked games online with my friends.
