So if I show up at 4:00pm est and my opponent is not there in 15 minutes I win?...Saturday is not a day to be lounging in a game lobby waiting for someone to show up...

That's what I was wondering. It says 15 minutes, but who do we report this to if it happens. I don't want to send something through the contact form, leave and then have the guy show up and deny that he wasn't there.
I have to play at 12:00pm. That's lunch time damnit :D

Good question, what is time necessary to win. How will we report the no show of our opponent?

The bracket time is the official time you can play but you can also try and play earlier then that time. You should have received and email of your opponent and you can try and contact him to setup an earlier time. If you wait to play at the brakcet time then you need to be ready 15 minutes before and then wait at least a good 30 minutes to see if your opponent jumps into the tourney lobby or not. If he doesnt show by then, drop the admins a message via "contact us" email and tell them you had a no show.....
I think that would cover your obligation to play your game and would afford you a win in that round.......just my guess but it makes sense to give your opponent a little time before claiming they were not there.....

Sitting and waiting for 45 minutes does not sound like fun. Are you sure it's 30 minutes?

No shows should get the loss.

Please refer to the official rules:
"Sponsor recommends that you be online and connected to your console platform and ready to play an opponent 15 minutes prior to the published match time. If you are not on your connected console platform 15 minutes after the published Playoff match time, you forfeit the match. To report a no-show, use the contact form on the website. The Tournament administrator will confirm that your opponent is not available for play before awarding you the win. A false no-show Tournament claim will result in immediately disqualification from the Tournament."

What if you wait and the opponent doesn't show. You send send the no show message via the contact page. Then your opponent decides to send one too? How will you be able to tell who really didn't show? I doubt this will happen much but there are bound to be a few out there who are going to lie.

i think you basically got the entire hour to wait for him but if he doesnt show 15 mintues after 30 mintues total then you report it and theyll come in the lobby to check

I sent a msg in this morning about my game and got a quick reply from the admin so I know it worked. You should use the email address and password that you created when you signed up for the tourney and your GT since that's what they're using to track you on the tourney website.
