New thread for SFL league on 360 (info)

Alright, for those who are interested in this league, and those who have already told me they are in, this is for you.

I am going to delete the previous league I named SFL because I want a "draft" so here is how its going to work.

Im going to get 9 people from the forums for a league. I beleive I already have Myself, Sean, TexasFight, Manning, and Steelerfan (another guy who's name I forgot) so probably 6 people (4 spots left)

If you are interested in joining, tell me your GT. And if you will, tell me why I should put you in the league.

Once I get 10 people commited we will start a "draft" heres how the draft will work.

everyone who is commited must be on the 2k forums at the time I choose (I will give at least a 24 hour notice to when the draft will start) The draft will most likely be on Sunday, possibly even next week. The person with the first pick will choose, then the second and so on and so forth. the way it will work is lets say your first pick was Walter Payton, and your second pick was Art Donovan. You must make a team with those as your gold players and enter that team in as your team that you choose. Same for the silvers and bronzes.

A few questions.

How do we decide who gets first/second third pick, etc.?

Do we have to pick gold picks in the first two rounds, or can we pick a silver/bronze?

How great is Mackey at returning kicks? I mean I know I'm a Colts fan, but he just bulldozes people...

To answer your question Manning about drafting silvers and bronzes early, you can, but I wouldn't understand why. I wouldn't get why someone would pick Natrone Means when they could have OJ... lol

Well you can only use two Golds, so if you have a certain silver that you always have on your team (Barney/Lloyd), you could pick one of them early and take whatever gold is left.

I just need to know who gets first pick... so I can take them out and get the first pick myself :)

And as for the best of 3, that is the playoff format. When you get into the playoffs, you play you opponent in a best of 3 series

I joined up, and finally got my league win... 50 achievements. I didn't exactly "earn" about half of them (thank you my brother's free time) but created five ability golds are sweet.

3. No glitches(blocking, short kicking etc.)

I think my rule #2 is useful cause the game purposely puts your defenders out of place. Hence there are all the threads on these boards about the defense in this game sucks, thats due to not making pre-snap adjustments.

you can still attempt to block whatever you like, there is a glitch that is a guaranteed block and its obviously a glitch. There is a short kick glitch which prevents the receiving team from picking it up before being swarmed. Both are obvious and that is what it's in reference to.

It was a nail biter, down to the wire, just like our game Njake. Only difference was I got an INT to even out the turnovers. These sim games are great!
