The Anchorage Iron Men-Season 1

From APL.com/IronMen:

Alaska has never had a major league sports team-until now. The Anchorage Iron Men will be an official expansion team in the All-Pro League. They'll play in thr new Steel Mill Park. The team held an expansion draft, and ended up with the eleven players you see below.

Their team colors will be light blue, light green, and gray.

The Iron Men, formerly the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League, were changed to the Iron Men of the APL, then moved to Anchorage because of lack of fan support, and because Anchorageans REALLY wanted a team.

Their first game is against the Las Vegas Rollers.

Hey man, you said that in order of posts the players will be made. So you and Marlins got gold. That's all good. But one more guy posted and he's silver, and i posted my player right after him and i'm a bronze? wtf? Can you explain to me the reasoning in that, because there is more than one silver spot. My player is Jamaal Howard, DT if you were wondering.

Anchorage Wins First Game

In the first game of it's history, a few things were learned about the current Anchorage Iron men. Their kicker sucks, their quarterback's pretty good, and their running back and wide reciever rock. The Anchorage kicker missed one extra point and one field goal from just about thirty yards.

However, the running game and passing game were right on. Jason Millerson threw for over a hundred yards. Will Phillips ran for a hundred and thirty seven yards. Jose Villasmill caught four balls for sixty-two yards. Overall the Iron Men played well, as they defeated the Denver Cougars 22-11.

Oswald Finkleburg had four tackles, two for loss of yardage, and an INT. Jules Jackson had a fumble recovery, P-Jay Hall had a sack, and Jamaal Howard had and INT.
