I am fed up with the experience

Because of the lack of ability and opportunity to get any game on 2k8 including bad ones, I feel it is time to retire from the online poop shoot that is APF 2k8. The fact remains that because of ***** clowns my rating is 82% and no one from the forums will grant me a game. Due to morons, cheaters, and just plain guys from manhatten taking offense to me playing straight up and expecting the same. Rusulting in my removal from the great gamer list because of my rep. I am pretty much done with online because of the BS experience with most of the people. I am just fed up with a poor experience overall. If people can grow up. I may be back for a challenge some day. Becuase i don't want to deal with garbage madden ball and 7' tall CAPs if i want a game.

I have played you on many occasions and actually reffered you to the APF LIST OF GREAT GAMERS. I think you may have been taken off the thread due to inactivity. Because, I remember smith spot saying he was removing a few players that have not been playing.

While I agree with you that there are a bunch of CHEESE HEADS out there, I still think there are a good amount of SIM ballers still out there. I guess what I am trying to say is that you need to rethink giving up on this game and be more selective of who you play. Hang in there :thumbsup:

So, give them a shot before you give up on the game. Also, I think alot of the SIM style players are migrating to the legend lobby so, you may find more legit players in there.

I just started online, I'm 0-3 but am still lovin it. I only get my *** handed to me once, the other were pretty close. I just see everyone on here saying play people w/ 80 or 90% feedback, so that's all i look at....well and rank now too

at no point did i envoke the sacred name of earl or not adapting. I am tired of have to play junk ballers who dont want to play sim (or anywhere close to it) why should my experience be crap because. I feel i adapt well. Bofa would back me on this if he choses to do so. Plague if you even bothered to read my op you would have seen that i wasn't complaining about anything but not being able to get a straight up game. Or a game at all because of hoohas like SSSS or ben whateverhisnameis. people spilling glitches in the lobby. or just bein jokes. Thats my problem. Why play a game everyone makes into life or death and tells how to glitch when he loses a tournament game? (Ben) or touts his amazing abilities (to create Andre the Giant at all positions) I dont recall pulling your chain about it. Next time think before you type. Yeah i want to venture into a lobby full of guys who cant hold their game up without needing an extra advantage.

Its not the vouching or anything else people shouldn't have to vouch for you. Your word is enough. But someone already mentioned it in here. Words dont mean nothing to most of them rating % does. if someone says they are sim and have lost like 10 out of 150 games do you trust them. In the same respect if some one is oh i dont know say 15 and 20, with an i don't know say 82% rating, and say they want a sim game. People put the rating over the words. No wonder we are led by someone with a c average

oh yes one more thing i mentioned to a few people in PM and Bofa will vouch for this cause he did it in a game against me. If you decide to assign defenders be sure you think it through. Assigning a LB to cover a tight end... against someone who runs Ace Quads can have a drastic effect on the game. Of course the uninformed among us will say that me running ace quads is chedder and that having a game plan is cheese. You know making your own play book and using it to your advantage.

I figured as much. I think Malt Liquor took it the wrong way and thought it was aimed towards him. So, I was just trying to straighten everything out. The more I get to know certain peoples personalities on here I can tell when they are joking, being sarcastic, etc.

But, I think there whole season comes down to how well Jason Campbell (QB) performs and I think he has the tools to become a good NFL QB. Although, I am not sure if he is far enough along yet. We are desparately lacking a posession reciever.

This is to expected from a young QB, Ijust hope he can get more comfortable with the offense so, he does not do this. Also, it is easy to tell that he is not comfortable yet because, almost every pass is to his primary reciever and he is not going through his progressions very good when that primary reciever is not open.

The Eagles are without Sheppard so Moss or Randle El should be able to exploit.
Clark might not get too many throws because he might have to help with Kearse going at your backup RT.

I think it will boil down to whether you get to McNabb.
If you get to him and spy Brian Westbrook you got an easy win.

You've evidently run into more mature players than I have! I think my rating now is somewhere between 60-70% and I am st8 up sim all the way. I just came over from the madden camp and in my first several games, well let's just say ugly is being kind. I got a negative rating cause my skills sucked (still do but that's just time). Then when it got to the point where I could maybe win against somebody as bad as me, oops, negative again.

I quit on some dude that ran the flea flicker e-v-e-r-y o-t-h-e-r play. Oh well, bad rating again.

So I get a streak of better players in player match and I get toasted like 5 games in a row but I play through, even while losing. So I got some good ratings.

Then a couple of nights ago, player match, its evident within the first qtr that i am the better of the two newbies. Sooooo he quits, I get the negative rating, and get this, he tags me as verbally abusive:rotfl:

That's kind of hard to do since 1. I don't have a working headset and 2. I have IM/chat turned off for everyone except my friends list. I can't SEND to or receive to strangers. I am too old (50) to put up with a bunch of cursing whiners,So I turned all that stuff off.

Enjoy your 80+ rating, believe me, it could be worse!
