I preordered it from Amazon and they sent me this in an email to let me know my "order's status".

I'm guessing it was pushed back due to the 2K College Hoops Classic, which starts Nov. 15th. There are some solid teams in it this year in UConn, Kentucky, and Memphis. These games are usually broadcasted on ESPN, so I'd assume they pushed the game back so that they can advertise the heck out of it during this tournament. Just a guess

Shipped usually means just that; shipped. At gamestop, we'll sometimes get games early, but can't sell it until a certain date. For example, most retailers currently have a very huge game that has already been shipped, but can't sell it yet.;)
EDIT: Gamestop just pushed it back too.
