Players that play as Gold Tiers

Here is a list of players that I believe play as Gold. For those that have others, please post.

QB: Cunningham, Starr

RB: Bill Sims, Ottis Anderson

WR: Maynard

TE: Ben Coats

CB: Lem Barney

LB: Gregg Loyd

DE: Too Tall Jones, Youngblood, Dexter Manley, Simmons

DT: William Perry

Leroy Butler and Brent Jones. Butler is awesome, especially if you use Bear defense to blitz every once in a while. Brent Jones is just as good as any TE in the game.

Elvin Bethea is a great defensive end. He has leadership bonus also, you can really tell when he is on your team.

Andre Reed. Great hands, pretty fast, and runs people over in open field like a gold player.

Metzelars is good on short routes. Don't ever let that guy go long though. Beyond 10 yards from the line of scrimmage his fingers mysteriously morph into thumbs.

That's not true. If the other team is playing zone and you have him running a deep post, it's money 90% of the time.

Meh, Perry plays like a silver at best, same with Manley and Simmons, but Ben Coates is for sure a gold calibur type player, same with Cunningham. Bart Starr is good, but not quite gold by my standards. Don Maynard is pretty amazing too. Lem Barney plays like a silver to me, only because all of the gold CB's play like him times 2.

1.Dwight Clark...I looove him..Ive seen him beat Woodson,Barney countless times
2.Bernie Kosar...Great arm,can make all the throws just as good as any silver or gold QB
3.Christian Okoye..what more can I say...everyone on this board has been killed by him once or twice..best value bronze on the game
4.Dexter Manley...one of the best DE on the game PERIOD...
5.Elvin Bethea....better than any Gold DE in my opinion...he has single handedly won me games(without manually using him once)
6.Don Maynard.....one of the Top 5 WRs on the game...beats all silver and most Gold CBs consistently
7.Dante Lavelli....same as Maynard,ultimate sleeper
8.Ben Coates....the man is a beast...
9.Otis Anderson...great back,good speed,power,and tuff
10.Leroy Butler....hes like a Gold CB in your defensive backfield..great blitzer,plays like CB against TEs and in coverage

From my personal experience, I cosign on Maynard. Kenny Stabler is as good as any gold for me. And I play better with Billy Sims then any gold RB (must be the Sooner connection), I swear he has some hidden abilities.
