There are a couple of abilities that I'm not quite sure how much they truly bring to the table. For example, the Clutch ability for a QB. What does it really do? Would it be better than the 'Pocket Presence' ability? Why or why not?
I really wish we had more detail as to how this abilities affect the gameplay.

The clutch ability certainly has an effect on those situations where something NEEDS to happen. Maybe the player breaks that extra tackle .... the QB forces one in there a little tighter or a DL comes up with a huge sack.

Good example of clutch.... Last night Im playing someone, down by 7, and its the last drive possible (only 30 secs left on the game) and I throw a high pass to Ricky Sanders, who just happens to have the clutch ability.... well needless to say, he jumps up extremely high, one handed catches the ball, and breaks two tackels after that before finally being taken down around the 10 yard line. It was pretty amazing. Thats what clutch does.

Clutch seems to make WRs more athletic, Dwight Clark runs around like Clark Kent.

It seems clutch gives your player that extra... umph to make the play when something is on the line like that game situation example given by Tuboware67 earlier.

why do qb's have run coverage ability as a choice?

I was wondering that too, until I trucked Kosar with Barney on a 107 yard interception return.

why do qb's have run coverage ability as a choice?Because they throw interceptions I guess. I'm not sure I would play a QB if that was one of their abilities... lol

lol i was thinking the same thing. what a waste of an ability.
but whats better for a rb(i made noel devine from west virgina) speed and cutback, quick feet and cutback, or speed and quick feet? which ability is more effective in that case, speed or quick feet?

i think speed & quick feet is the best but i haven't tried quick feet & cutback
