He's a rookie out of Boise State, so I instantly wanted him on my team. I asked before the season and it was Okayed. Also, I didn't want to have 3 DBs but I had to add him on!!! And I've been switching guys in and out with the Cowboys... I had Greg Ellis one year, Zach Thomas, Flozell Adams, etc. I was just switching it up again this year and it looks like it's working: 8-1!!

Hey Eb, I tried having my opp. quit when I've won, but that isnt working, so unless you can think of something else i guess you'll have to sim all my games. My rec is currently 6-2. If you have a solution post it here and I'll get my games in this weekend, if not then I guess there's nothing we can do but sim my games and wait for next season. I've been activly online, just not here for this reason.

As for the score. Come on man it was the first play of the game. I think thats a bit petty. We usually fix the score if it a bit into the game, but Willie Parker scored on the first play of the game. When me and Higgus played I intercepted his past and was moving chains before the server went down. But I didn,t ask for the ball back when we played again, because it was only the second drive of the game. No big deal! 3rd or 4th quarter would be totally different. If we do do something to that nature we may pick up the game from where it left off because the majority of the game has been played. But not in this case. Let me know when you can play again.

It sucks that this season is a waste for me, but o'well cant do nothing about it. As far as next year goes I'm going back to the pats, and I'm claiming them as my team. The Moss toss is coming back. GL all.

In my opinion they are all big occasion players, who can turn it on when needed. You are correct in saying they have never been to the playoffs, but I don't believe you need to get into the play-offs to be a clutch player.

To be honest, Edwards had Route God and Winslow had Speed Burner in my original team build, but I thought this would make them superman-like so I substituted them for an intangible. It wasn't a conscious decision to give them the same attribute, I haven't really found players with clutch gain a massive advantage over others.

Surely, the time to critique my team would have been prior to the season when I posted it on the forum. Not straight after our game.

I think the key factors in our game was Jamal Lewis rushing for 120 yards and the two key interceptions Kitna threw.

You should keep Tatum Bell. He was beastly. It may have just been bad D on my part, but I think Bell will do good for you, especially since you've got all those receivers for everyone to focus on. No one will think to watch him like they watch Roy, Calvin, and Mack, so defenses will drop back, leaving him wide open for a dive or draw every once in a while.

Antrel Rolle is a free safety. They moved him there this offseason. I know what I'm doing. Anyways X, I remember when you had Boss Bailey on your Cardinals team when he was really on the Lions.

I would put Carson Plamer at Gold and move Chad Johnson down to silver just because he's practically not on the team anymore. But it's your choice. (oh, and maybe tone down T.J.'s skin, HE'S INDIAN!) And one more thing, I don't think Palmer is a rocket and laser arm. At least not at silver. I'd say leadership and pocket presence. Have you thought about running a hurry-up style offense like the Bengals do in real life?

As for Rolle's speed burner, I watched a few videos on NFL.com and he seemed pretty fast to me. I would almost never give any player Closing Speed because the game doesn't define what the ability really is. Is it fast to the pass like Ball Hawk, fast to the run like Run Reader/Coverage? Stupid ability.

I honestly didn't know about O'Neal being the third corner. I check NFL.com yesterday and it had him as the starter, so I went with that. I guess Leon Hall is the starter now?

M I think Palmer can definetley get away with rocket arm. AS for TJ, it's up to Quality control. I'm not negating that he is solid, I just think he is a STRONG silver. But again, he does come up in clutch situations. I just think from a overall perspective, if you compare him to the other GOLDS in this league and the NFL, he doesn't match up to Gold. I guess it could go either way. I just don't think he is a as much a threat as Roy Williams, TO, Ocho, R.Moss, S. Moss, Hines Ward, Braylon Edwards, Steve Smith, Marvin Harrison, etc. Again, I know your solid with making players, so I know it wasn't to get a advantage over any one. But I just don't think he is the 2nd best player on the Bengals. But if you and quality control work it out, I will respect the decision that was made:thumbsup:

As for the Housh M, I stand corrected. I thought about this yesterday why divulging several turkey burgers, and I can honestly say now I agree Housh is Gold. True he did make the Pro Bowl, but it was wrong for me to compare him to other Golds in the league because everyone has different rolls on their team. I think he is over shadowed by number 85 on the other side of the field. And as for his abilities, I think he can get 5 easily. Tough in the middle, Deep threat, Clutch(he comes up in big situations), and Soft hands, just for starters. I'm sure whatever you gave him already, represents his real life abilities. Now what do you say about that rematch in Buf-town.:D

Wow, lol, I was just screwin' around in Practice Mode and I put TJ at HB. He runs better than Rudi, by a long shot. He's fast, breaks tackles, and can spin away better than most silver HBs, if not golds. I know I can't use him there, but wow. He is versatile. He even spun away from Ronnie Lott.

Alright fellas it looks like KJ stood a few people up like the fat lady at the bar again. So I'm thinking about generating the playoffs tonight. I don't think starting one day early is going to effect much. If there are any other games that are scheduled not involving the King let me know and I will hold off until your done. For the new guys heres what we do when there are unplayed games left when the season cut off date comes around. Based on your league and thread activeness will determine the winner. So for instance, I know GT and a few other guys have been after KJ like a loan shark from the 80's. So because he has been the unavailable one, his opponets will get the win, when I sim games tonight. If it is 2 people who haven't been around and I have to sim the games between the 2. I will split a win in a loss for both out of the two games etc. (Hopefully this explains the process) To some it all up as long as your around the thread or making a ateempt to play games your :thumbsup: . Now the bad part about simming games is that it heightens the chance of one of your stars being injured during the simulation. So here is the new feature I propose. If your game is simmed vs someone who has been playing hookie, and a key player get injured. Next season you will be awarded the win vs this opponet for the amount of games scheduled to play. You will start the game and your opponet will have to quit so you can be awarded the win without injury. But you don't have to, it's just a option. I do know K had a death in the Fam, and that can throw things off. But hopefully K, you'll be available a little more next season.
