ALLRIGHT GENTS LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

:salute: It's been a long time coming but we are finally here. Everyone has joined with their created NFL teams and the schedule is generated. TOhasBO misunderstood the terms of the league and has a Lions team with legends on it. I'm working on it now, I think he uploaded the wrong team. I'll keep you posted. Here's how we can make sure our league is a success. Fortunately, everyone in our league are GREAT players that undersand the game of football, so I am confident it will be a great experience for everyone. Everybody that's in our league is also on the forums. I suggest we add everyone from the league to your buddy list, so if anyone schedule changes and can't make a game night you can coordinate something on the forums. Also, this will be the thread we all can meet up on.

Game Nights

Wednesdays 9:30pm ET
Saturday 9:30pm ET

Remember we have the flex schedule so if you can't make it those nights, it's cool. Email your opponet on the forums and work something out. Flex schedule works like this: If Higgus is schedules to play me week 16, and he is in the league lobby, we can play and knock that game out. I have it set up for 2 games a week, because I know we all have lives outside of the game. But if you play more than 2 gmes a week that's cool too, that means we can knock this season out quick. Hopefully we can keep this core of players, and grow upon this for season's to come.(i know theres a lot out there)

I'm hoping we can all meet here on gamenight. But how the lobby works is like this. Once your online go to My Leagues, and you'll have the option to go to the lobby. That way you can see who is available from your league. Or if you see someone in the All-Pro Lobby, have them meet you in the league lobby to get your game in. Here is evryone's team and game tag.

I know we don't have the same capabilities of XBOX, but I have someone attempting to make something real quick. That will maintain weekly highlights, awards, and etc. If any of you have any creative ideas of how we can get some kind of site cranked up let me know. I'm trying on my end, but again let me know if any of you think of anything.

If I quit the league and rejoin will my record still be intact? Also I updated my depth chart and play book but nothing changed, it stuck with default.

Actually, from the way it sounds... once you join with a team, that team is locked. And you have to update your depth chart, playbook, audibles, etc. in the "league desk" menu online. I hope this helps.

I think this is the same thing Boise is saying, but if you were to quit the league. The team you joined with will still be there, and the only thing that can be changed is playbook, deph chart, audibles, etc. Being that we all communicate via forums, I would suggest us knocking this league out and use the mistakes from this league to make the next one better. That way we can work out te kinks, and adjust accordingly. From what it sounds like, I don't think any of us has played in a league that actually played out to the end. But I'm confident we'll be fine with this one since all lines of communication are open. PEACE.......EBINEEZ :thumbsup:

Sorry everyone if i screwed up the league for everyone. To be honest i didnt realize i had to create my own team, i thought once i entered the league lobby it would magically change to the Lions for some reason, anyway i created a Lions team and found the code for their uniforms and saved everything so if if we can save this league great, if we have to start over i'm down with that 2. Again i apologize for my ignorance.

I think everybody's cool with the situation, it was a honest mistake. I think were all just glad we have a solid core, and a solid league to run sim games in. My 1st league as well. You can't change your 11 stars/CAPs but you can edit you playbook, depth chart, substitutions and all that stuff.

Find the "Personal" section within the league.

Question about injured players:

You said we should keep extra CAPs incase someone gets injured, right? But if we can't change our 11 stars once we join the league, how would we add the extra CAPs after our original guys get injured?

I would just say start fresh, but I do understand that could be kind-of-crazy because the next game he could beat you. On who's end did the freeze come from? If his sytem froze the game I guess it would be fare to give you the win, but if it's just a online freeze out of both of your control. I would say just replay!But if Bingo wants to give you a free 7 point start, that betweeen the 2 of you. I doubted, but if he wants to give you the win. NV you know what i read that read as well. The gou said you should spell his name Wall instead of Wahl. The only thing I can think of is go to league desk, then personel and keep him as far away as possible from your lineup.

I know it super rough because we don't have as many attributes, but even if he weren't in the league. Whoever replaced him would still have the same team. I think everybody is having issues with their team because we are all knew to a league, and once the schedule is generated their's not alot of changes you can make. However, let's look at this league as a test run. And next league everyone knows what to expect. It'll work out, at least I hope it does. I'm 0 for 3 right now. SHEEEEEEESH...lol

Played SouthShallRise tonight. It was a great game but (not to make excuses) my left-footed kicker missed a game tying extra point with about 1:50 left. It did that thing where it takes forever for the K to kick the ball and it threw off my timing, making it sail wide left.

Aye the dude that plays with the bears is cheesy, he trys to draw you offsides with the cadence call, he started doing it when he realized he couldn't move the ball against me. Also someone called me cheese for moving my safeties. Moving safeties does not disrupt the AI...how can it? They are not on the line or lined up with anyone. If anything I move them down to help out on the run and crazy TE's. Thoughts?

The only reason is you can play a full deep zone and just cram the LOS with everyone and they can magically get back into position once the QB huts the ball. I have no issue with doing whatever you want with your own player though.

I'm not for a league with a 1000 rules but some things should be voted on. Fake snapping should just be banned period from the league IMO.

I think you can replace the players in a league but not the teams being used. We have to finish the season with that team.

The only reason is you can play a full deep zone and just cram the LOS with everyone and they can magically get back into position once the QB huts the ball. I have no issue with doing whatever you want with your own player though.

I don't move them to the LOS, I line them up with slot WR's and TE's but not at the LOS...maybe about 7 yards. I'm not going to let someone kill me with passes to their slots players all day or with their GOLD rb running about 5 yards before my safeties make a move on him.

I honestly have no problem with you having a legends team. I've played online with my created team against legends teams and was very successful. If someone doesn't want to play you because you have a legends team, award THEM a loss. On that note, we still have to play each other! :)

On a serious note, I definetly don't want you to leave the league. You having a legends team is a honest mistake. This is the first league all of us has been in with obvious progression. Everyone knows not to move your DL's pre-snap, because it can create a DLine glitch. But I've never hearda bout LB's or DB's being cheese.

Congrats on the proposal homie. The easiest way to add friends is .....Once your playstation is on go over to the option on the far right where the memory information is. Once your there move the direction pad up until you see add friends. Just type in the person's gametag, to add them as a friend. Eg: To add me just type in Ebineeeza.

AS for your previous opponets, just go to options menu and select 2K rating then 2k rating history. PEACE.......EBINEEZ

I just played the BEST game I've ever witnessed against Ruff!! Heres what went down.

I was down 7 with about 4 minutes to play, G. Sayers breaks a long one and gets a TD against me. Now I'm down 14. I get the ball, score a TD with about 2 minutes to play. I'm down 7. I try an onside kick and don't get it. His first play, he runs for another TD with Sayers breaking about 3 tackles on the way. I'm down by 14 again. He kicks the ball, I get a pretty good return to about the 40, but I get called for clipping and get the ball at the 12. My 2nd play from scrimmage I throw a deep pass to Witten and get a miraculous TD. I'm down 7 again with :40 seconds left. I kick another onside and RECOVER!!! I throw a go route to Witten and he snags it for a big gain. A few plays later, it's 3rd and 10 I throw a TD pass to Marion Barber. TIE GAME!!! :10 seconds left. Of course, I choke and KICK the ball out of bounds giving him the ball at his 40!! He completes two long passes to Maynard and has a 46 yard FG attempt with JAEGER and :02 seconds left. He kicks it, OFF THE POST!! Overtime! Needless to say, I win the toss and my 2nd play I throw deep to TO since I see 1on1 coverage, TOUCDOWN, game over. Best... game... ever...

Ya, I thought you had it won at the end of regulation because you kick the ball with plenty of leg! And on that bomb to Owens, my first option was actually an 'in' to Glenn, but I saw Owens 1on1 and decided to air it out. I also thought my defense was "decent" until I've played some of you!! Stabler went 15 for 17 against me and Sayers tore me up, I still don't know how I won. And don't worry that you didn't contain Romo, no one has yet :)

How about we all meet in the lobby around 10:30 or 11pm ET tonight, and knock out some games against those we haven't played. Just an idea. But maybe if we all can agree on a consistent time, we can knock out some games for those who are hard to catch up with. But the way the cowboys are built, I had to make a passing team. I try to do what they're doing in real life. They basically abandoned the run against Chicago. And I will run it every now and then, but not too much. I'll probably pass 4:1. With that said, my passing game is on point :)

Quick Read- Under the lights of Arrowhead stadium, Damon Huard threw 4 picks as Troy Smith and Willis McGahee ran for 2 scores each.

Head ball coach Herm Edwards looked on in despair has his quarterback, Damon Huard, threw his 4 INT of the night with the Chiefs looking to tie the score up with a little over a minute remaining.
Down 19-0 early, the Chiefs managed to pull even late in the 3rd. They had a chance to take the lead but Huard threw an INT which later resulted in a TD for the Ravens. On the Chiefs' next possession Huard threw another pick, this one returned for a TD by some *****.
Tony Gonzalez came up with some big plays and LJ scored twice, but he failed to go over 100 yards for the first time this season.
Despite a poor outing, Huard remained confident in his ability to play as he blamed some of his passes on the distraction of the large harvest moon.

Good post Guav! However, we lost a soldier tonight in our league. Cold Eagle Green quit on our game because on his 6 yard line 4th and inches, I went for it and got the first in the first quarter. No hard feelings buddy, but three teams did the same thing last Sunday.(two in the 2nd quarter, and 1 in the first quarter) The first time you played me, and trampled over my defense wtih 200 and something yards there was no problem. I get a interception and then I'm at your 20.(wow good for me) Then I'm in scoring position, and need a inch for a first before I'm at the goal line. I would do it again! Teams with low scoring offenses do it all the time. Were talking about a inch! Not 4th and 2, 4th and 5, but 4th and a inch on your 6 yard line. But to go as far and say out of the 7 games you played only one person was sim. COME ON MAN!!! Was that one of the people you beat? To go as far as to say the people in this league abuses exploits..... I haven't seen anyone abuse anything, win or lose! Personally it seems you were frustrated and that's the easiest way out. I even offered to reverse the win, and start from scratch, though that wouldn't have been to my favor. But no hard feeling boss, I wish you the best with your quest for sim being that it's not here. And being quite honest if you would have attempted to quit before the conversion, I would have got the point and kicked the fg IF it were that serious. But you waited to after I converted to quit. Seems suspect, but at the end of the day it was still good experience. Good Luck!!!

Well gents my season is over, but I've experienced some of the best football games ever. I'm am happy to say, there is still a lot of good football to be played!!!!Who will be the 2K Gridiron Champion? Will it be Ruff's Paper Champions, everyone's favorite for this season. The Legends. Or will South maintain a undefeated record and go all the way. But let's not forget about Boise the ONE person who beat the legends team. Guav has seemed to turn it on the last few games, and Larry Johnson seems to be on that Jose Canseco juice! But at any rate, their still alot of SOLID teams out there you have to look out for. Merv-zilla and the Niners are amongst the best out there. Bingo and the Steelers is definetly not a team you want to take for granted. And we all know about Higgus and his skins. Things are really getting interesting since NV and his panthers has proven they can contend with the best.It still early in the season for most of you, and Scorpion and his Giants definetley has a chance, as well as the Slab and his bears. I say all this to say, it's anyone's RING. BUT WHO WANTS IT THE MOST?

Since the majority of league games have been played, here's a suggestion to help you knock out the rest of your games. Me and a couple of people would send each other emails on the this forum to coordinate a good time for both parties. Just a suggestion.

What Up fellas. Just checking in because i've noticed the standing haven't really been moving. We came out the gates pretty strong but it seems the league progress has slowed down. Since the majority of league games have been played it probaly would be best to send a message to the person you wish to play next. That way you can coordinate a time for both parties. Being that so many games have been played, more than likely when your in the league lobby with someone you've played them already. I was also thinking a league power night this Friday, if everyone schedule permits. Everyone that has league games left, meet in the lobby and everyone can knock out a few games. The Americans were held in check the first half, as the clubs entered the locker-room with Carolina leading 7-0. That was soon changed, however, with under 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, the Americans inevitably struck. A deflated Panthers team couldn't finish out the rest of the game, and DeShaun Fosters' 2 rushing TDs could not keep up with 2 Maynard strikes and a Sayers score. The game was iced when Willie Brown intercepted a Steve Smith-intended pass and ran it back for a TD.

It probaly would be best to Add everyone as a friend on your PS3. Reason being, when you do that it'll let you know whenever your any of your friends is online regardless what game your playing. Regardless what game I'm playing, I can see whenever any of you are online, or signoff. That way if you see they are online, you can send them a message to them on the PS3 and tell them to meet you in the lobby. Trust me, that's how i was able to play all my games so quick.
