Breaking News
This news just coming to us. According to sources, the Chicago Bears have completed a trade with the Seattle Seahawks that will send the Bears' 4th and 7th round picks in the 2008 NFL Draft for the rights to the 16th overall pick, the Seahawks' first rounder. Speculation is running wild on who the Bears will look to pick with this selection, and the early opinions from our experts think that Chicago will take a cornerback and use their second round pick on a linebacker to improve depth. The Bears have also traded into the third round, using their 5th and 7th round picks in exchange for the 71st overall pick from Minnesota.

I used to do the whole owner mode in Madden before I discovered 2K5. It was until couple years back the only part of Madden still worth playing IMO. I think as an owner you have to be heartless and never give up more than you have to. I use to play them like a real owner (no playing games-sim'd them all). My best one I took the Steelers (Madden 04) to 17 superbowls-13 in a row winning 13 (not in a row). I would get Madden even this year for that mode alone, if they hadn't messed that mode up last year-(no longer able to scout players).
Anyway goodluck.

can you really scout (draft) players er just 'play' them in that game. I don't wanna actually have to play Madden. I'd just wanna simulate the games. (An owner doesn't control the players) That's how I used to like to do the owner mode.
