Im for sure not new to 2k, just never got into any leagues. I mainly played Franchise, and played ppl I knew online.

What is entailed in a league. A link or something would be tight. My friends rave on 'em all the time. I need something to keep me busy (post World of Wastoftimecraft lolz)

Sac Town is my team.

Is it just a commitment factor? skill? both? cause by the sound if it youve prolly never played an MMORPG. Im almost positive Leagues dont take that much compared to that LOL

again im just curious what is involved. Not "if you never played one, dont cause you wont last a week.."

u have to play in on to get the hang of it

and majority of the leagues that start in the lobbies never finish

the league has to be with ppl u know and who r commited

thanks, I understand to an extent how they work. Just didnt want to randomly join a league to waste my time, to see them fall apart. I have played in leagues with 8 friends of mine and by the 2nd week ppl fizzled out. They had other leagues that they were involved in, obviously mine was for fun, and didnt appeal.

I just wanted to know how a typical Public League, or Serious league, worked. Again Ive messed around with friends but, it never really panned longer than a week.

Good thing you weren't in leagues last year or previous years.. it was real hard running with the Kings.. I use the Kings just like they play in real life.. the rotation they have is brutal.. and they always get killed on the boards.. it's not fun rotating Brad, K9, Reef, and Corliss at the PF and C positions.. with Ron playing some minutes here or there.

Douby was a great player in 2K, but he rarely played last year.. so I never used him no matter how good he is in the game.. lol

Hey Axion. If you are interested, join us up at www.DigitalSportsLeagues.com. See my post regarding our league.

Being in a League is fun with the right people. You basically have a website that keeps track of all the stats, you can trade players etc. Our league, like many is a sim-league, which means we try to play like how you would watch a regular NBA game. No abusing dunks or shooting excessive 3 pointers, etc. Any questions, feel free to message me on my Xbox, gt is gd360.
