LOL HE DID THE SAME **** TO ME!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH. Im constantly online (like literally Im on live prolly 10 hours a day.... go ahead make no life jokes, but its only because I dont sleep much, only about 4-5 hours a night so I stay up late playin games) and he tried to blame me for not playing him. Im on at least twice as much as he is and he blamed me, gave himself the win. I tried to send him messages but he didnt respond.

Whatever though, no biggie, after I BEAT knowledgist I think Heavens wouldve beat me, hes done it before so why not again right?

I have no beef with you, I just feel like I made an effort to play you, and I did send a few messages before the deadline and you never wanted responded. But like I said, its not a big deal. Heavens is gunna win it regardless, I just wish I couldve went out like a champ and lost like a man, whether it be to you or Heavens, or some way win it all, I wanted to go out playing, not because of some deadline when I made an honest effort to play my opponent...

Unfortunately, there were quite a few games simulated. The championship game may as well have been (lol). Knowledges won 33-13. I could not get anything going with B Kosar. and I could not contain N Means. I will be sending several of you invitations to play in my next league. Be advised you only have 1 and 1/2 days to get your game played. I will advance the league. Even if it means giving myself a loss. It's always done as fairly as possible. For you SIM ballers please know in advance that I don't regulate when you can go for it on fourth down or how to use your hurry up. Everything else is pretty standard for you guys. I hope you decided to play because there are some real good players in the league. Congrats this time Knowlegist but know this ......you have target on your back and I am QSO certified. I will send some of you invites. WE do not like simulated games. So again I must stress. You cannot miss you games. My regulars will pop babies out of their butts if I invite a bunch of newbies who don't get their games played. The seasons are 16 games long. Must be able and willing to put all league members on your friends list. If you like competitive gaming I guarantee you will not be dissatisfied.

Make sure and let LATECH06 know that he can't abuse the QB cadence in your leagues. Which means he will have to begin preparing a whole new game plan.

I thought it strange when alliance4g63 made a post about being in the finals of the Best of the Forums tournament, but when I checked the standings he was out, and the game appeared to have been played. I didn't know that you could simulate games and have stats and everything available.

I know TuboWare was on nearly all day and definitely all night last night. I don't see how he could not have been available to play. He was playing All Pro Football at least half of the time.

It's hard to setup times, especially when the dates aren't set, and we simply receive a message out of the blue from the admin saying when they need to be played by. We were given 2 to 3 days for each round, until the final 4, and then only 24 hrs. Out of curiosity, why such a short time period for the final 4 games? (For the record, I got all my games played, but that last one was tough to schedule)

Hey man, my bad if you didn't get the messages because I definitely sent them. Unless, I got you GT wrong on my friend list you should have gotten them.

Being on does not mean you're willing or able to play...I did receive all of your messages and I was able to schedule my games without a problem, except for that last one, which was just too a period. To avoid confusion next time, you might want to post a schedule of the tournament dates/rounds so everyone can see them ahead of time. Sending messages via PM's on XBox 360 is a great way to remind people to get their games in, but probably not the best approach for indicating the dates/rounds the games need to be played by.

I agree about the need to keep the tournament going, but there should be room for a little leniency when you are down to 4 people and only 1 game needs to be played. Especially when you are the tournament coordinator, if only to avoid the appearance of malfeasance.

As a tournament or league coordinator you have to be harder on yourself than the other participants in order for the tournament to seem fair and legit. Regardless of your intents, simulating 2 rounds and giving yourself the win has the unfortunate side effect of casting you in a bad light even though your intentions were good (to keep the tournament going).

I'm not casting stones here. I played all of my games, and won/loss fair and square (well, except for Barry Sanders fumbling... I'll lament over that another day though!). I think a couple of things could have been changed that would have allowed everyone to be on the same page schedule wise, and to have avoided the unfortunate circumstances that forced 2 of your opponents to miss their games.
