who on here adjusts their D to match up their corners/safeties against the opposing teams receivers or TEs?

i know it gives u an advantage but it sucks having to sit there for half an hour(embellishing) waiting on someone to get everything setup, but then later on in the game, they have paused to make more changes to the line up that takes even more time......

im not saying u guys r crazy for doing this, i just like to throw my team out there to play and have fun w/out having to go PIP or take a nap while players are doing match ups, subs, audibles, looking at my players to see their attributes for some reason, ect.............

ask ya'self....does an NFL team just dont bother with pregame adjustments, strategy, and personnel decisions and just tell their team "Just go out and get'em boys"?To be an upper echelon team(and online football baller)it takes knowing the other teams personnel, what to take away, what player matches up with the other teams best WR,etc.Youll be amazed how just a simple D matchup can turn the tide of a game.Ive won countless games on Madden and APF just by making smart in game substitutions, adjustments, and audibles.Im willing to bet 90% of the top ballers set matchups and etc.....one example is the Denver-Kansas City matchup in 05...Denver put Champ Bailey on Tony Gonzalez(yes a CB on a TE)all game...what happened?Tony G had 2 catches for 24 yds the whole game and Denver shut K.C down, which at the time was a Top 5 offense...good coaching will beat a good player/team 95% of the time:thumbsup:

i have no doubt that ur right....... but in the NFL, those adj, stategy and personnel decisions are done during the week in preparation for the game or at least for the most part, i know adjustments r made during the game. i wish APF could some how let us set up those assignments w/ our team before we r actually in the game, if not, no big deal. i just hate the waiting on how long it takes for someone to do all their setups, adj, sub, audibles and all that......

at least u replied to the thread..... lol...... exciting, the rest of u should be ashamed of themselves.:D

i think its a MUST especially if you play someone with they're best reciever on the right (like i do) becuase he will be going up against a scrub or your second best corner unless you do the matchups and it really doesn't take that long maybe 20secs (not audibles and all that other, just matchups and maybe camera) all that other stuff you can do before the game in manage team

I dont do them, and my reason is match-ups only work against man defense, and man defense is easy to beat. Unless of course you get the guy who has Night Trane, Woodson, and Barney (we've all seen these people) and all out blitzes every time, and bump n run. I still beat this coverage sometimes, the funny thing is these people think their some kind of defensive czar. I could play this way, i choose not to.
