Not a simple question. The best QB depends on the makeup of your team, your play style, etc.

Most of the folks I run into online favor Randall Cunningham (mostly because he is a silver), Dan Marino, or John Elway. To a lesser extent I see Young, Montana, Starr, Stabler, Theismann (rhymes with Heisman), Bartkowski, and Kosar.

IMO, the one I liked the most was Marino, more so b/c of his quick release. I don't spending Gold's and Silver's on QB's. Kosar for me is great. But I would say you have to experiment and see what works best for you. I've created and deleted probably 15 teams and have played 12 games online and are no where no close to getting my team or QB set.

I like Steve Young myself. He's awesome in this game. He's pin point accurate. Throws a hard ball and can run.

He was a safety. When I eventually get a PS3 and this game, I'm going to sub him in as a punter and S just to see if he is any good.

Otto Graham, he is awesome in the pocket and on the run. He is accurate, throw seeds, and seems to have a quick release like Marino. Otto runs very well. Mackey and Graham are my favorite players on the game. Try throwing a deep ball with Graham. He does not need to wind up, he just whips it.

I tried Baugh as a punter, and he can't punt. I haven't tried him as a safety but I think it would be pretty cool to have him in on dime packages or something. I think he has or had the record for most interceptions in a game.

I don't like him that much as a quarterback though so I won't be making too many teams with him

I am just as effective with guys like ken obrien and jim harbaugh as anyone else..it all depends on what you are asking your qb and who he isthrowing theball to.

Bronze qb's will often throw a pass 5 yards away from the receiver, and then it gets easily intercepted. The quarterback position is the hardest to play in football. And when you have the best DB's in the game are who you are trying to squeeze it thru, you want Joe Montana, not Dave Krieg.
