kickers suck?

is it just me, or if u don't have a star kicker it is almost impossible to make a field goal? maybe its just me, but i barely make extra points, and have an extremely hard time hitting a field goal longer than 20 yards.

no you just suck at kicking i can nail 50 yarders with a generic easy(if the wind doesnt mess it up to much)

Not me. anything 45 yards or less is automatic for me. I make probably 9 out of 10 from 50 yards as well. Now, on Legend, it is a little different.

How do u do it. Cuz I have trouble making a 40 or more field goal and its a silver star!. how low or high do u aim ur arrows

yes...the kickers suck...try kicking any type of clutch kick with a generic...the ball barely goes 10 yards

i hardly ever move the arrow, just pull back and when he plants his OPOSITE foot push foward as hard as you can and make you your kick says centered and perfect or slightly early. if you get a late kick it will duck on you 100% even pat never can make it

I don't know... I've made 50+ yarders.. and then missed 2 extra points in one game. I would have to say the fault lies with the player rather than with the kicker.

right on fanthom alot lies with the player. However playing on Live makes it difficult at times. Its much harder when playing on line to kick though because of the serious lag between players. I have had games were i was nailing everything and shanked late XP or FGs to win or tie

no it's not the player...i do the same thing every time...i know how to work the kicking...but when it comes to important kicks, the generics can't kick the ball 10 yards!

I've seen someone use Stenerud before and have tried him in practice mode. Every kickoff was a touchback and in practice mode the guy can make 60 yarders on a regular basis. He's still not worth the pick though.

I like Jaeger though. He can hit from 55 and he will help you with the field position battle too. Not only on kickoffs but also missed field goals can hurt your field position a lot. I'm not very good at kicking so its worth it to me to carry Jaeger.

Yea, I suck at kicking as well, thats why I always pick a bronze kicker. Jeff Jaeger FTW!

All generics are not created equal. If you create a team and your kickers name is Brown... start over and get a different kicker. He is the wost kicker evah. I think 2k put him in there as a joke.

Derrick Brown works for me, I have no problem nailing 45 yarders with him.

On legend its pretty hard for me to kick, but on all pro I nail 50 yarders
