Stop trying to hide behind the old ones saying you're more sim than everyone else cuz you play on old 2k controls. Sorry to burst anyones bubble that must seriously have crack in it or a very distorted view of what hockey is like, the Pro stick is more sim by far than the old controls. Next person i hear tell me that i'm not sim (when i'm the most sim guy on 2k since the beginning) is gonna get every cheap 2k7 advanced controls goals until they get so fed up with wraparounds and seizure moves that they pick up the pro stick and not only stop me from getting to the net but play D as well which this person and others who complain could never do.
Nobody ever used to complain about me, and i never used cheap goals unless someone used them against me (a rule i started in 2k7 for myself, but before that i would never use cheap goals, played on Hall of famer, and was 10th on 2k6 original xbox, no wraparound moves no glitch goals) but i play 3 or 4 games as i just got the game online recently and i'm being labeled cheap for using the pro stick, and "sliding across the crease" move, but little do they realize unlike the old wraparound move, you get a guy semi skilled with the puck and he'll beat your goalie 9 times out of 10 if you let him walk in like that. NOt only that i barely even use that move, i like to do deflections and rebounds and slap shots and wrist shots and everything else in between. I got kicked from a 2k8 league and this guy couldn't even get in my zone the whole game and he labeled me cheap. I can understand that with some people who use the same move over and over again but that ain't me. I might try it tops two or three times before moving on to something else.
Not only that i think they put it on All star maybe because the D would be too good for a crappy player on HOF possibly, so if you can't play D you are gonna let in lots of goals regardless of how they are being scored.
And for cheap players reading this, don't think by reading this that doing cheap moves doesn't make you cheap, if you are using seizure maneuvers and so forth and you get called down for it, you should understand cuz it takes the fun out of the game for anyone other than yourself not that you'd care.
