Me, i am more excited about the 6th man feature than anything. it is one thing that i thought was painfully missing from the last game. in a college game, your crowd is just as much a part of your team as the players themselves. having an excited crowd can inspire your team, and kill the opponents team. this is one of the things i zeroed in on within my 2k8 wishlist, im glad they added this.

I hope they improved the difficulty of the overall game. this is something that really bothered me last year. after awhile i kind of lost interest because there was no difficulty involved in the game. if i wanted to make the game difficult i would basically force myself to make mistakes. maybe allow there shooters to get open, purposely throw a bad pass. something to add to the difficulty. i even stacked the sliders against myself, you shouldnt have to do this. at least not to such an extreme.

I hope they give better championship celebrations and teams actually celebrating when they go to the final four.

1. Fouls. I was able to adjust the sliders in 2k7 to end up with a respectably realistic number of fouls, but I was never able to figure out which fouls would be called when. Maybe it was due to choppy animation, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but it seemed to me that the decision to call a shooting/blocking/charging foul was pretty random. On one play, I would drive into the lane and take a foul, and on the next play, I would drive into the lane, see the exact same animation as the previous play, and have my shot blocked, and on the next, I would make the same drive, see the same animation, and get called for charging. The call, or lack of call, hardly ever accurately reflected what I saw on the screen.

2. Turnovers/steals. This is more of an AI thing than anything else. It's easy, using the sliders, to make it so that you have some unforced errors, but the CPU team rarely suffers the same problem. College hoops in real life is full of unforced turnovers. These are kids, after all. On the other extreme, even with the sliders turned all the way down, there are way, way, way too many steals. Especially by the CPU, thanks to really bad passing decisions. You end up with not enough turnovers overall, and too many steals specifically.

3. Traveling. Related, why, especially in *college* basketball, is there no traveling? After several seasons of playing each game with 20 minute halves, I could count on two hands the number of times I committed a traveling violation, and I could count on zero fingers the number of times a CPU team did. There should be an inherent traveling risk with each of the various moves players can make, and this risk should apply to CPU and human players equally. The lack of traveling calls in 2k7 is the one minor detail more than any other that made the game less realistic (and therefore less enjoyable than it could have been) for me.

And one big thing:

The coach mode was something I sorely wanted to make work, but was useless for two reasons: the lack of a play-designer (thank God they are fixing this) and the poor AI. The teams played so poorly that their relative qualities became unimportant. Every game I coached had scores in the high thirties or low forties, and it did not matter if I was playing the worst team in the country or the best. Every play involved passing the ball around for 30 seconds and then throwing up a desperation shot. Without fixing the AI so that the players can actually *run* the plays as they are designed, and run them correctly, the addition of a play-designer won't mean anything.

I hope that they finally fix the ability to make an intentional foul. It really was frustrating to be up by one with 20 seconds to go and the opposition just dribbles the clock down. Also hope they tone down the turnovers and get the realistic amount of fouls.

I am looking forward to actually a couple of things.

1st The Roster Share, cause all you need is one person somewhere in the world to give everyone there right name and create people that are not in the game. I actually asked for this in the 2k8 forum before the game was released.

2nd The Create a Recruit that would help well for me since I like to go from a college game to a NBa game with a CAP basically the whole Legacy Mode...

3rd The New Play Calling System Basically what the tittle means..

4th The Halftime I missed this in NBA 2k8 and it looks like they are making it better in terms of PLaycalling and managing your team.

5th the on-fly Sub thing missed it in 2k7.

I could go on but Basically the whole game EA can't even touch this game right now niether can NBA 2k8...

My biggest complaints would be within NBA 2k8 and they obviously won't be addressed this year. One of the biggest draws of having a college game and an NBA game are that you can draft players that you worked with for numerous seasons into the NBA and thus add a significant amount of depth to both games. This ability is lessened severly by the fact that in NBA 2k you only have a limited pool of faces for your college players to be assigned and they almost all end up looking the same. Take in the fact that their body types, no matter what their weight is or what they looked like in college will look the same as well. That means whether its Kevin Durant or Big Baby you're players body will pretty much look the exact same once he is drafted. This of course means that customizing and individualizing players in the college ranks is almost pointless.

Having a more specific transfer from CH to the NBA would be money. That would mean that when you drafted a player he looked like the exact same player that you had in college. Because almost all of the player models are the same in both games, I don't see why it would be a difficult problem to do so.
