They followed my suggestions for skills competition last year, and in 2005, they'll add this feature.....the ability to jump. Currently, the only way to avoid a diving check is to do a quick stop and let the defenseman slide by. A properly timed board pass in conjunction with a jump will allow the the O player to get past the diving defenseman. I hope they at least give me a free version of the game for this suggestion.
