Is there UNDOCUMENTED DL control???

I have to ask this. Here is what happens sometimes.

I will setup my DL lets say as Pinch or Base.

NO LB'er ADJUSTMENT IS DONE!!!


The ball is hiked and suddenly the DL does a GAP LEFT/RIGHT.

I've seen this with Blitz Plays mostly.


It can be annoying when you plan a base or fan dl with a blitz up the middle and suddenly the dl runs a gap away from the runs point of attack.

I have noticed this as well. But, it only seems to happen when I play offline.

Maybe it's the O-line blocking to open up a hole?!?! Thats all I can think of...

I've seen this too and I haven't found any reason for it happening. It's completely random and doesn't happen that often, but at times the whole DL loops to one or the other side of the C. It's not even gap left or right, cause even there the DE won't go to the opposite side of the C.

It may be related to an OL shift, but it's not something I have been able to reproduce with any consistancy. I just chalk it up to miscommunication to the DL from the huddle and leave it at that, ie. random glitch.

Yeah, I'm stuck with offline play for now. #$%$ FIOS Router!

I'm trying to see if a slight movement of one of the sticks influence this.

Can really screw up concentrating your movements.
