Who can give me a good explanation of how the CHARGE works w levels?

Here is how I see it, I'll use the spin move:

press B= generic spin

Tap A then press B= 1st level charge spin

Hold A for a second then press B= 2nd level charge spin.

Now one other thing I wanted to clarify about charge moves.... OJ Simpson has a 2nd level spin move (no charge needed). Ricky Waters has a 2nd level CHARGE spin move.

So press B w/ Simpson = Hold A for a second then press B with Waters.....That would be equal correct?

Also, since Simpson has a 2nd level spin. Does that mean that a charge will not improve his spin? Or does Simpson have a 3rd level spin with charge activated.

Thnx for any help guys. Up until now I thought there was charge, and no charge. I didn't realize anything about 2nd level charge moves.

Not sure I'm right, but I always thought it was:
-basic skill move (no charge at all)
-charged skill move
-2nd level charged skill move (which is what abilities do)

I think you are overcomplicating it with this tapping/3rd level business.

There is only two levels of moves, the basic - where you just press the button then if you have a 2nd level move you have to hold down A untill the circle underneath your player fills up and kinda flashes then you press the move button, note if you have a gold player the cirlce will fill up completely blue when he is charged for the 2nd level move
