online problems...please help!

almost every time my brother and i have tried to play online in the last few weeks, the game drops right after we hit start on the team select page. we didnt have any problems at all before the latest update. my brother did move to a new house, but we can play other games like rockstar's table tennis without any problems at all. he can also download demos and everything else seems fine.

erasing our teams and settings seemed to work in getting the game to play, but it immediately messes up the next time we try.

a few notes:

-my bro's NAT is set to Open
-nba 2k7 has also had some problems
-we are playing on xbox 360

is there any way to completely erase all pro 2k8 and start over fresh? i feel like a clean install might fix the problem.

Had the same problem. Delete your roster and create new teams. If that doesnt work then maybe delete all your APF files and clear your 360's cache.

how do i delete the entire cache? i feel like a fresh install might solve the problem but cant figure out how to do it. i saw one video about removing all updates...is this what you're talking about?

ok...i figured out how to clear the caches and the first game worked fine. we quit to try a second game and got the same timeout problem. what the heck is going on here?

anyone else having problems?

yeah, we deleted everything multiple times and it hasnt worked since that first time. at this point, i am thinking that maybe my brother's modem is messed up. he's going to replace his cable modem and try again.

no one else is having any problems at all?
