Who do you feel is more important in a Defense Dominated Team : Willie Brown or DT

Dave Wilcox > Derrick Thomas in this game. Its funny how ever since I started telling people that I keep seeing more and more people with him.

But for your question, an outside linebacker is more important than Willie Brown because Lem Barney is almost as good as him.

I think the real reason you see more DT lately is because after the patch, OLBs are actually useful. Pre-patch they couldn't bring down Campbell (or most other gold RBs), and would usually just get blocked anyway. Now, they provide a lot more usability.

Pre-patch I would have said Willie Brown because the D-backs played like morons and LBs were essentially useless.

Post-patch I say DT. The silver and bronze D-backs are playing much better and DT will actually chase down and avoid blocks to tackle a gold RB in the backfield.

I actually really like Joey Browner. He is my fav. But not very strong is pass defense.

I used to like Joey Browner. But he is like you said, not good against the pass.
