What TE is better : Mike Ditka - Shannon Sharpe - or John Mackey

I am going to use 1 Gold pick on a TE. I like Todd Christensen at Silver - But I have decided to go with a Gold TE. Ditka appears to look the best for me. I will use Okoye to run and control the clock, while I will have 4 silvers and 2 bronze on my Defense. What is your opinion on these Te's abilities. Thanks

Personally I think Jackie Smith has better hands than Ditka. Both can run block.

Ditka.. because then you can put him at RB.. he makes a Good RB

i made a team with sharpe and i must say i am impressed......he is faster and runs his routes better than ditka......plays like a jerry rice when matched against a backer

Silver Brent Jones is my choice. He has Mr. 3rd down and Possession abilities. If you're going to toss it to your TE all game long then perhaps someone else is better, but as far as mixing it up, run and pass, with some solid WR's, Brent is clutch in 3rd down situations, short or long, doesn't matter.

Addendum: I think possession ability is better than hands for a TE.

Jackie Smith is an absolute beast. He gets my vote.

Ditka is the most useful of the Gold TE's. His leadership ability seems to make my entire OL play better, which is important if you don't have a gold back. He blocks great, catches well, can run some.

I'd go with Ditka simply because he does it all: catches, breaks tackles, devastating blocker, Leadership Ability, & Stamina.

Create Antonio Gates (Route God, Breakaway Burst). I made him and he catches everything and blocks just as well as Ditka because he weighs 30 more pounds
