Let's say you highlite an opponent online. "Loading" appears then, "darkasian +13 vs. Valdarez" appears. Wouldn't it be cool if when you cycled through a lobby, you'd see how much you were favored by, or how much you were an underdog by at each player there? Or is my gambling creeping into these forums now?

In the past leagues I ran, I always posted a spread. It added a little more to it I think. Even though my leagues had some not-so-good players, they played to try and at least cover. I think the highest I put out was +31. He only lost by 27. It's not an upcoming feature or anything. I just thought it'd be cool.

You know how hard it would be to put that in? Although, the computer could look at your offensive and defensive stats and compare them!

It'd just be a feature. Underdogs win despite the spread all of the time. I just thought it'd be cool if when you challenged or were challenged, the opponent and whether you were favored or not was presented as well. Just wanted to see what other people thought.

It would be a cool feature in a league, I should try that....

Feel free to. That's why I threw this out there. People tend to play against the spread too when it's introduced.

I don't like it. Some of us would never get games. ;)

If I'd come across someone who was a 35 point favorite, but still had good feedback, I'd play them still. Nothing like winning when you're the underdog. The boards would be filled with "I just beat this guy who was favored by 24 over me." You'd still get games. Maybe more.

First, as a nonpartisan bystander, let me just say that I think your example is highly inaccurate. :)

The idea is not a bad one, but I would much prefer having a true ladder system instead of this feature if given the option between the two.

You could also add "record vs. the spread" to your leagues as well.

I don't like it. Some of us would never get games. ;)Maybe. I think it will all depend on how much you are winning the games by. For example, you could be 400 and 40, but only have a 5 point advantage over a player. I am willing to bet that players would be much more willing to play a guy that only had a 5 point advantage over playing a guy with 90% win record.

If they do it, then there should only be the point spread information OR the record / ladder rank, but not both, because AcoosticAnt is right, the top players would never get a game.
