I know there is nothing in the instructions that talks about stripping the ball. But is there a way to cause fumbles? Idk, maybe by pressing the LT button. Or does RS (big hit) make for only way to cause a fumble.
I've been clicking RS a lot when I go for fumbles. The instructions say clicking the RS makes for a big hit. Yet I have seen only one fumble in the past 15 games I've played.

You just have to get lucky. You should get a guy with big hit and ball strip to get the best results(which is pretty low). Jack Tatum laid a BIG hit and the ball popped out of the dudes hands.

Use your first defender to stand up the ball carrier you can do this buy tapping (A) and just running at the defender the animation takes over and udually the ball carrier is delayed. WHen this happens bring in a second defender that is charged up and use the hit stick kind of like a gang tackle.
This works for me. I get at least 1 fumble a game

Almost half of my forced fumbles have been by layin the big hit on the QB with a blitzing Derrick Thomas....and sometimes if i flick the RS up as i sack, he will reach and pull the QBs arm down, causing the ball to pop out....pretty cool
also the patch has sort of increased the fumbles.....ive seen 1 in each of my last two games, which seems right

The way I force fumbles is just laying out the ball carrier. Though I dont pay much attention to trying to cause a fumble.
