rarely...it's true they get off to a slow start...unrealistic but i think it's good they made it that way...otherwise people would abuse it

hmm but sometimes that pressure out of nowhere is needed especially since LBs are sluggish when blitzing also.

There is only one good blitz.

It is out of the 5-2. You send 7 guys rushing and they get to the qb fast. It is not cheese because there is a really easy way to stop it.

bleh im fine with all out blitzing, i want to establish a outside blitz with corners, i know of one that someone keeps doing on me is bliting the middle lb and one of the olb up the middle, oline never adapts to pick them up, i have to play shotgun most of the game.

I tried the 5-2 about two days ago. I think it's good for one or two plays. Three times is asking to get burned. I had a guy on his two on a punt. Blitzed with the 5-2 for a safety.
The first time anybody sees it, I'm sure they don't know whether to crapp or go blind. I played a guy a while back who was getting crazy pressure all game. Didn't know at the time it was 5-2 specific.

Yes, the 5-2 doesnt work every single play. But it is a suprises if you use it at the right time.

Manually blitzing is the only way you gonna get any decent blitz with the corners or saftey. Nothing cheesy about it because it can easily be picked up but it's good to get a nervous QB to throw early.

5-2 inside blitz is nasty. I am one of the only online players to use the 5-2.

It is very nasty, when the opposing player doesnt know what to do.

5-2 is great like you said if someone doesn't know about it.
And it depends on personel too.

Corner and Nickel blitz plays work.
But you have to know when to use them.
If you know they are kinda slow then use it when the opponent will require time to setup a play that requires a lot of yards.

It is not meant to be an every down play.
As someone said if it were too successful then that would all we would see online.
Just like the 5-2 blitz has its place when stopped a player can get burned using it.
