This looks better than NBA 2K8!

From the movies I've seen I'm way more into this Hoops 2K8 game than NBA 2K8 which I had for a few days and sold on ebaY. NBA was ok but I got bored fast. This College game looks more exciting with the college atmosphere. The arena's really look like they come alive too. And throw in the Recruiting stuff and you have a much deeper hooping experience with College Hoops 2K8 imo.

it all depends on what game you enjoy, as far as raw control over teams, nba probably is deeper. ive always been into college more than nba myself, but i must admit, they did a excellent job of capturing the nba experience. i just hope that college will be closer to nba 2k8 as far as difficulty goes. last years was way too easy imo.

but ill have to see some actual game play footage or play the demo before i start handing out praises.

There's some footage on Gamepot.com I watched a few days ago if you want to try and find it. i think I kind of liked how the game played like college hoops where running plays is critical. The players were always on the move and the ball was being passed all around. The NBA is more about 1 on 1 type stuff. I liked NBA 2K8... but I'm more of a College Hoops gamer. Ya gotta figure both hoops games are mainly running the same game engine ...so the College game shoud rock too.

I ALWAYS, however, like the college hoops game more. That being said, NBA 2K8 is a GREAT game..so idk

I also always like the college game better. I passed on NBA 2K8 this year because I do not want to spend $60 on a game I will not get much use out of once College Hoops 2K8 comes out.

If you combine CH 2k7’s post game, with NBA 2k8, weaken the double team and use my sliders the game wont have any major flaws and boy will using the Razorbacks be fun this year.

I really like them both but seem to have have more fun with CHs. Just becuase of the tournements and so many teams

ive always liked college more because you are continuously getting new players in. you may have a sucky team one year, and the next recruit the next kevin garnet, only to lose him the next year.

you never really get bored with your team. as soon as you get used to a set of players, you have to start recruiting and getting prepared for there departure.

honestly im incredibly excited about this game, the more i play nba2k8 the more potential i see for this years college. the dunk and dribble packages, along with the new shot animations can make for an incredibly unique experience with your recruits(though i have yet to see this confirmed for CH2k8).

the lock down button can make for a much more defensive game. and the added animation means a more realistic looking product. the play editor means you can actually act like a coach and design plays that will take advantage of your teams unique skills. and we haven't even touched on the 6th man feature. honestly we have the potential to see the greatest b-ball game yet.

nba just gets annoying always turns to a cheesy game. every1 plays w/ lakers, cavs, rockets, and celtics... not to mention NO1 plays defense they just hit double team all possession which is a turnover 95% of the time and screen and roll on offense every possession.
