Oregon Ducks

The Ducks players have been banned from football because they were betting that they would lose!! So they held tryouts for anyon on the streets who wanted a go at football. They came opon some very interesting players. The 1st stand out player they found was QB Dwyane Carter. He is a very mobile QB, and extremly accurate and has a pretty strong arm. They came accross a mix between strong and speedy HB Brian Gordon. Gordon looks like an Adrian Peterson type of player, who can crank that speed button whenever he wants.

They found a perfect TE for this offense in Mike Hunt. He looks like a guy who can be a reliable target for Carter, like a Jeremy Shockey. Jose Vilasmil looks like he can be one of the best recievers in the league. He is a speed buner with very doft hands. He is almost like a Randy Moss or Chad Johnson. They found another pure speed back in Jordon White. He is blazing quick almost liek a Reggie Bush. They found a stand out reciever in Jalen Moss. He looks to be a possetion reciever. Coach says hes their main man on a 3rd down. They found their 1st defensemen in Jules Jackson. He loosk like he could be a Julius Peppers or a Michael Strahan.

Then they found a heck of a player in Reggie Slaton. He looks like a lockdown coner who can shut down any WR in the league. Then found vertistile Donte Mayo. Rumor has it that he can play WR, HB, and QB. For now, he will be our slot WR. They found DeAngelo Ware. Not much known about him. Hes pretty good. After him came a standout SS in Jamaal Carter. He is a big hitter and a great coverageman. Call him Ed Reed. Jean Kisa will be our inside LB. He is strong and a solid tackler and coverageman. Matt Johnson came along. He looks like Reggie Slaton alot. He has same qualities. Then came the twins Reggie Gray, and Bobby Gray as our OLB's. Both are quick and will rack up tons of tackles. Our DT's are Jeremey Green and Simon Wade.

This team looks like they are ready to make a championship push with these new players they aqquired. Carter, Vilasmil, Slaton, and White will be these teams best players. Each has their own style of play which makes them all Heisman canidates. Carter will have to limt his amount of running because now he can drop back and just pass all day. But don't think he won't. He has blazing speed which can punish you at any moment. Vilasmil will have to play more deep threat style then short yardage guy. Jalen Moss is their short guy, so Vialsmil will have to go deep. All and all, this team is ready for Ducks football!!

Lee Corso: Well these new guys in Oregon look really talented and can blow out the Cougers. HB Jordon White sould be able to open up the passing threat for Duel Threat QB Dwyane Carter. Carter will then have to spread the ball out, so they don't focus on just one reciever. I saw Carter throwing some routes to Mayo in practice he other day, and whoo they were on the money. Still, you must gaurd star recivever Jose Vilasmil. I saw Oregon's backup throwing to him, and he made some cathes I have never seen!! Talented team.

Rece Davis: You seem inspressed out of this Oregon team. Well Kirk, how do you feel about the re amped Oregon Ducks?

Kirk Herbstreit: They look fantastic to me as well. Jordon White is one of the best backs I have ever seen. He is very fast and should be able to run all over this defense. In warm-ups this morning I saw him truck Reggie Slaton, and juke Jules Jackson and brought it in for the score. He looks speacial and He and Carter will get hhuge rushing yards this season. Also, another key you see on this Oregon team is Jules Jackson. He is a pure beast at rushing the passer. In his highschoo lhe set a school record with 25 sacks in a season!!! He truley is Di.ck Butkis contender.

Carter steps up

The Oregon Ducks just destroted this Houston Cougers team piece by piece. Carter and White were pure beasts in this one. Together they combined for 234 rushing yards!! They were straight up on fire!! Carter also did i through the air, getting 235 yards, and 3 TD's. He and Vilasmil hooked up for the 1st, then he and Mayo. Mayo had an exlent game out of the slot. Lots of yards and a TD. He lit up the stat sheet with all he did! The defence also stpped it up big. Slaton had 2 picks on the day, and a tackle! Slaton really stepped up. Can't forget Jules JAckson n the line. He got his 1st sack of the season this game. Also Jean Kisa did well and got 6 tackles on the day, Very good day for Oregon as they advance to 1-0.
