The Eagles come into the season hoping for a playoff birth. McNabb wants to using his skills passing the ball to set up the run for Wetsbrook. Those 2 are a strong combo that could work out for years. Westbrook hopes to use his versiility to haul the load for this team. He will be alot of their offense. McNabb will have to get him the ball as much as possible. Takeo Spikes should have an exelent year. Hes an exelent tackler and should be the leader of this defense. This looks like a promising season for Philly.

The Eagles are going into Greenbay in serch of their 1st win of the season. Farve is a verteran who knows how its done. The secondary will need to shut Farve down so they force them to use the running game. And thats not a strengh for the Packers. Meanwhile, Philly will have to controll the clock with their run game and make that Packer Defence do as many plays as you can get them to. Then, that will tire them out and let you expliot. McNabb will have to pass the ball well too in order for them to win. Kevin Curtis is moved up to 1WR because he is very skilled. Curtis will run alot of streaks and deep slant routes to open the run and shorter passes. We have to shut Donald Driver down. He is Farves favorite target, and the heart of that WR core. This game should be a very fun one to watch in week 1. Also it will be fun Watching Brian Westbrook return some kicks. Yes they put Westbrook at Kickreturner so they could get a spark on speacial teams. This game should be incredible. Eagles are ready for some football!

The Eagles and the Packers are set to play here in Lambeau. Eagles win toss and choose to kick. Brett Favre and the Packers did the rest afetr that on their 1st drive. Favre threw for 67 yards, and got the TD on the end of that drive. He seemed to be on fire right out of the gates. But don't let that surprise you. Westbrook got the kick and returned it for 43 yards to get Philly on the 47!! Then McNabb did the rest. He drove up field and got a 19 yard TD pass to Kevin Curtis. NExt drive for the Packers Javon Kerse landed his 1st sack of the year, and forced the Packers to punt.

Not much happened untill the 3rd. McNabb led them up field again and threw a 7 yard TD pass to TE LJ Smith. Smith had done a nice job on the drive getting 2 catches for 29 yards and a TD. Next drive Favre threw a pick to Lito Shepard! He brought it to the house. It was a 39 yard INT return!! What a way to show domenince to start the season. Favre was still feeling shaken up, and they forced the Packers a 3 and out. Westbrook kept pounding up field and set Akers up for a 45 yards fieldgoal to give them a 24-7 lead. Then Favre drove the Packers up field, and Brandon Jackson poinded the ball in for a 2 yard TD run.

This game was a great one for Eagles fans. The Eagles start the season out with a bang getting Philly their 1st win of the season. McNabb looked like his old self as he was on fire all game! Jeramiah Trotter was everywhere as he got 6 tackles! This Eagles team looks liek it cqan go to the suprbowl and win. It will be a tough task this year, but this Eagles team has what it takes to do anything.

The Eagles and Skinz are going to play some roug and toug football today. They hope McNabb can carry over his great proformence from week 1 to week 2. They are facing a strong Redskin team, who thrives when they run the ball. Look for Washingto nto use a mix of Portis, and Betts throut the game. The Eagles are going to have to get some type of running game going in Westbrook. He did well last week, and they need him to the the same or better this week. The Eagles hope they can force young Jason Cambell to make some mistakes that the Eagles can pick up on. The Eagles offense is explosive and can score at will, so you dont want to make a mistake. And if your going to throw a pick, dont throw it Sheppards way!! He took it to the hosue last week, and he will do it again if given the chance. This should be a fun all around game. So grab some popcorn, drop the kids off at the Grandparents house, and get ready for some football!!
