LeBron Raymone James (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Commonly nicknamed "King James" and "The Chosen One", the Akron, Ohio-born James was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA star while still in high school, and was named Ohio's "Mr. Basketball" three times. At the age of 18, he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers.

Before his NBA debut, James signed an unprecedented US$90 million shoe contract with Nike. He has since set numerous youngest player records. In his first season, he received the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and in the following three seasons received All-NBA and All-Star honors. He led the Cavaliers to back-to-back playoff appearances in 2006 and 2007; the latter year the team advanced to the Conference Finals for the first time since 1992 and the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

James is listed as a small forward, but can also play point guard and shooting guard. This versatility has led to his unofficial classification as a "point forward". James was a member of the United States men's national basketball team that won the bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, and he finished second in the league Most Valuable Player balloting in 2006.

James has established himself as a legitimate triple-double threat and has averaged 26.7 points, 6.4 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game for his career. As of the 2007-08 season, he has recorded 13 triple-doubles in his career, with 11 in the regular season and 2 in the postseason. On offense, James utilizes his quickness, size, and strength to get past defenders. When penetrating to the basket James exhibits exceptional body control, adjusting his shot in mid-air according to the defense, allowing him to absorb contact and finish at the basket. In the 2005-06 season, he led the league in completed traditional three point plays. He is a solid rebounder who regularly ranks among the league leaders in rebounds for the small forward position. His overall skill sets and on-court play has led to many comparisons to NBA legends Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan

Although James exhibits exceptional offensive ability, he has yet to be featured on the NBA All-Defensive Team and has struggled with his free throw shooting — he averaged a subpar .698 free throw accuracy in the 2006-07 season.

1st Quarter
Lebron had a expectacular game by scoring 15 points. he had dunks rebounds and 3 point shots. he was excited about this upcoming season.

2nd Quarter
Even more hard for LBJ to score since he was doubled team since the start of this quarter.
he managed to score 8 points because he mostly passed to the open teammate, it was obviously Zydrunas Ilgauskas because he scored like crazy in the 2nd quarter.


3rd Quarter
LBJ came out of the locker room with fire rushing through his veins and his game because he dropped 18 more points leaving Granger in the dust. who had almost the same amount of points in the half.

4th Quarter
Lebron took over in the 4th still being double teamed and sometimes even triple teamed just to stop him. Lebron got the inbound pass from Drew Gooden who then asked for the ball and got it but passed it back to Lebron who shot it with 6 seconds left on the clock and made it in with a spectacular bounce. then on the other side Larry Hughes sagged off on Mike Dunleay who drained the game winning 3.

1st Quarter
After losing the fist game of the season James scored only 8 points in this quarter compared to Josh Smith's 15. since Lebron was not doingn good to start the game he paseed the ball alot more so he got 5 assists in the quarter.

2nd Quarter
Josh Smith went bad in this quarter only scoring 2 points in this quarter, Lebron on the other hand scored 20 in this quarter and the Cavs got up 5 to end the 1st half. Lebron went 7-7 in this quarter and scored the rest of his points via free-throw.

3rd Quarter
Josh Smith and Joe JOhnson then went on a streak that nobody but James could match, they made the Hawks go up by 10 once the 3rd quarter ended. Lebron then got up and starting pumping the players up to start the 4th and last quarter.

4th Quarter
Lebron had an awesome 4th quarter because the Cavs were losing by 6 with 1 minute to and he took the team in his shoulders and scored the rest of the team's points for the game.
