I'm really sick of seeing anti-boffa threads or saying boffa is the sim police threads. You know, some of you jerks who write that stuff he has respect for or enjoys playing. I would say 80% of you haven't played him but just jump in because he's ranked highly...you really have no clue. The other 20% are kind of *******. There's probably 1 or 2% who are stalkers frankly, and I don't need to name them.

Fact is, the dude plays straight up, I've played him a ton of times. Yes, he's a strict on what's football and what's not...but if you play straight up, you'll get a good game every time and won't have to hear it. 99% of what he complains about is true fact. And it ****es me off that a few weenies who don't want to play football, but want to play some kind of crap ball, complain about his feelings on the subject. They're his opinions. I've violated some of those opinions, many times, and he's never complained or docked me for it...but if you ask an opinion, he's going to tell you, and then some of you come back and say he's sim police or whatever. You know what? Don't ask if you don't want to know the answer. Some of you complaining have never played him, period.

Fact is, I have him on my friends list and would play him any day over many of you little whiners. ANY DAY. Wah and cry because you suck and because he wants to play football: WAH. WAHHHH!! Bunch of little kid babies. LOL. Period.

Sarcasm is funny. Truth is, it ain't like the guy is going for it on 4ths, kicking onsides, blocking xp's...he wants to play some football. But some idiots act like he's not good. He's good for a reason. I've played him a ton of times (as well as others) and I'm sick of the bashing good players get. Sick of it. Getting bashed by crappy players...it was amusing and funny at first, now it's just gotten lame and tiresome.

And I've said this from the beginning, since the game came out...I'd rather play someone ranked in the top 20 than half the crybaby cheeser little kids ranked 100+. That still stands. You start playing someone ranked 100+ and they start to get super LAME. That's just a fact. And whether the rest of these dudes, like Boffa, or some other good players would admit it or not, doesn't change the fact. There are exceptions, but for the most part it's true.

Fact: Lameness insues when you start playing the guy ranked 150 or 200 or 300, or 799. That's just a fact. There's a reason for the ranks, and it isn't always about the amount of time put into it. You can argue and disagree, but I know it's true, for a fact.

Addendum: There are exceptions, on my friends list, you know who you are. But out of maybe 2,000 people, there are maybe 10 I'd consider decent in the top 2,000. FACT.

Nah, I do agree that rank doesn't have much to do with whether you get a good game, but in my experience, the higher ranked players I've played, the better games I've gotten. I haven't played IceThor, but I stay away from him. I've played just about everyone else though, and yes, there are a few crappy players, but overall nothing like you get from playing lesser ranked people. Not even close.

And the point I got away from was about Boffa. He's one of the best guys you can play. He's really good. He plays straight up. I just think people don't like losing to him...and I think people don't like his strict policy about football. But you know what? Oh well. Believe me, you don't get to be that rank without playing some cheeseballs and crushing them, you don't get to be that rank without playing in between and crushing them, and you don't get to be that ranked without beating some good players and beating them. I used to be ranked #9, believe me I know. I'm only ranked 25 now, but I beat the crappy players, and still have trouble with the good ones. It's just a fact of life.

You know me by now and we have played a bunch........ and alot of what I say on here is frustration from playing crappy players.

I never rate someone a negative unless they really abuse the glitches in this game. Out of 400 games I think I have given a very low amount of negative feedback.

Phillip, you and the other legit ballers on here know that I don't complain about something without good reason.

I ussually don't say much about anyone and how they play unless they feel the need to come at me first.

p.s. Hopefully I will get my 360 back before 2008 :)

I'm an exception...I'm ranked 500 somethin and I play as fair/sim/legit as any player can possibly play on this thing. But I will question things when they seem to be out of the ordinary and that's mainly b/c I don't have nearly as many games played as most of you ppl and I'm still learning

So I can't agree with higher ratings being the best guys to play and us mid ranged raking players aren't b/c I've beaten a lot of them, I jus don't have the tons of games under my belt...but for the 130 that I do, I say I'm pretty decent playing againt and beating some ppl that have 5 and 600 games under their belts

He does play straight up, I agree. What people say is that he is the sim police, which is also true (the two are not mutually exclusive). He thinks some strange things are cheese. Having said that, I will play him any time and I have no problem with how he plays. I don't think anyone on here ever said that he wasn't a good player or a sim player, just that he has very strict definitions of what is sim and what is not.

I believe that is one of the biggest issues people have with players like Boffa and other Sim nazi's..

I have never played anyone who doesn't try to utilize or exploit what the system allows and I have never seen a play that can't be countered.

Funny thing is I would rather play a player like ICEZEUS over a Boffa or another SIM Nazi. At least you know what you are going to get and the guy won't whine.

You must be kidding. ^^^ I have played both, and trust me, Bofa is actually a fun, sim gaming experience. Although I was laughing my $%# off the entire game with Zeus from the first INT to the last sack (i.e. from the first play to the last). Also Bofa is a good player and Zeus is very below average, and I mean in terms of skills. The only reason Zeus is 2 is because he has a way of dropping games he is losing where his opponent gets a loss.

1.) I quick snapped you once after you did it on numerous occasions. Which after my play you hit the pause button repeatedly about 20 times to let me know it upset you. But, I never would have quick snapped until you did it to me.

2.) I apologized for the slow play calling after you paused and showed me the T.O.P.......I was a little tipsy and didn't realized it at first and besides that you played a very safe defense so, I had to take the small stuff you gave me and my drives were long and drawn out because, of it. Funny thing is after the game I checked T.O.P and you won the battle 12 min to 8 min.

3.) You did the D-line glitch and I did a replay to let you know that I knew what you were doing. I appreciate the fact that you did not use it again the rest of the game. I can only assume this is what you considered whining....which is stupid of you.

4.) You gave me a negative rating because, you lost. In return I seen that you gave me a negative so, I returned the favor.


So, if anything you are the cry baby sore loser....not me.

I had grown tired of Microsofts BS and the online persons who saw fit to use the guererro motto of cheat to win. I am happy with no systems. I have better things to do than get yelled at about running a 2 te system. Being told having a gold secondary is cheese. Dealing with a system that has the ability to brick at a moments notice because microsoft wants to pay for cheap labor and parts on their new systems. You were a straight up baller and appreciated a straight up game. Take care all.

I feel the need to ask why you would make such a thread, Phillip. There are some people who dislike and disagree with bofa (I am neutral for the most part). I am sure he can take care of himself.

We live in a messed up society where it's okay to post thread after thread and post after post criticizing someone and pointing out their faults but yet frowned upon to give someone some props or tell them you enjoy the competition they bring to the table when you play them.

The only complaint I've ever heard against Boffa (and I read it over and over again) is that he has an opinion on what is cheese or a glitch and what is acceptable. Thanks Captain Obvious, I wasn't aware. Fact: we all have an opinion on what's acceptable and what's not. I'm quite sure there are times when I've done something he doesn't deem acceptable, and I have no doubt whatsoever there are many of you on here he finds borderline...but he plays on and never says a word unless he's posted to directly or the subject about <insert glitch> is mentioned.

Instead of piling on and continuing to show a lack of class (as I certainly do with regularity in other matters) perhaps look at the bright side and thank God he doesn't cheese himself or glitch...because if he did he would be absolutely un-freaking-stoppable.

When the NBA 2k8 forums are dead I browse the APF. Though I will not make any posts actually based on the game, seeing as that I am here-by done with it, with the exception of my league, the SFL.
