ANIMOSITY TOWARDS SIM PLAYERS!!!

I'm seeing a lot of animosity towards S.O.G. members and other sim players. Are you serious how can you fix your mouth to say something bad about a sim player. I guess you are mad because we play the game like it supposed to be played and win. First this is a video game that simulates real basketball nothing more nothing less. Sometimes things happen on the game that are unrealistic that we can't control but there are some unrealistic things on the game that you can control EX: CONSTANTLY HACKING AND REACHING, DOUBLE TEAMING,LEAD PASSING TO YOUR BIG MAN FOR DUNKS ALL GAME,CAMPING IN THE LANE WITH YOUR BIG MAN OR GUARDING ONE PLAYER THE ENTIRE GAME BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY D and I can't forget CONSTANTLY SPINNING AND ABUSING THE Y BUTTON. Yall mad because we don't use these cheesy tactics and still beat your azz. Come on now dont you have any respect for the game of basketball or do you just want wins to move up on the FAKE and yes I said FAKE leaderboard. Me personally i would not mind having a under 500% winning percentage as long as the games where fun and sim because I don't mind losing to a sim player that outplayed me.

I already know what you are going to say SIM players DOUBLE TEAM,LEAD PASS AND REACH. Yea we do but there is a difference. We DOUBLE TEAM but we don't use steal glitch, we reach when its appropriate, we don' t run around like a chicken with its head cut off hacking and reaching 20 to 25 times per possession. We don't lead pass to our big man for 15 dunks every game we can but we don't because its not realistic. That is why we are sim players we don't abuse the exploits that the game have to win. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND YOU CHEESERS IS THAT YOU NEED THESE CHEESY TACTICS TO WIN AND WE DON"T ITS THAT SIMPLE.

Lets bring something into play that for the most part says it all. All the people that don't play retarded have HIGH FEEDBACK! I'm sure Ron's feedback is pretty crappy so you pretty much know what to expect when you play him.My feedback is like 96% or something other guys that are xSOGx with me theirs are 85% + I would imagine.

The thing is when you play some random guy with highfeedback and he starts cheesing to get the win because you have good rank thats really when its ***.

90% of the time when you play someone you already know what to expect when just by looking at their feedback. Them guys that are 70% and below it doesn't take a surgeon to figure out what your about to play. So in reguards to that I just don't play them guys unless I feel like busting some cheesy azz its that simple. Its not like anyone said hey you gotta play that mfer. Don't waste your time with the *******es and they can sit in the lobby all day long pumping their nub

People pay 60 dollars to buy a game and have fun playing it, how they do it is up to them. If you want to play people who play your way, join a league or play your friends....

I think what you meant to say was, "In my online experience, I found the I could not compete without cheesing so therefore I stopped playing online".

Well i geuss that makes me one of the only true sim guys around smak. If people cheese i ahve never cheesed back, and i am 100% about that. If people pressed and reached me last year, i never once pressed back, or reached. I never once hopstep someone back cuz they did it, or spun back cuz they did it. If someone just plays passing lanes i dont do it back. I wont double team unless it it 100% realistic. If you look at my double team precentage it is .2 per min. I have never dont the double team rip by mashing X while double teaming.

But thats just the way i play. I play for honor, not just wins. If i lose and i played 100% the rigth way, i cannot feel bad. I mean the fact that i can keep up with someone that abuses every part of the AI and even beat them is amazing when i abuse not 1 thing. Its kind of like i am playing with a handicap, but i could care less. I would rather lose like a man, then win like a theif of a b*tch any day. By me not needing to cheat the system, or find the small things that make the game easier to win, i accomplish far more in a lose, then a person who finds flaws to get by does in a win.

I play how my real high school basketball team plays. Play mostly man or zone, throw in a little 1-2-2 or 2-2-1 if the other team goes on a run or if their tired/ we want to put the game away, and play some half-court trap to throw them off their game. I'd much rather let you make frustration mistakes than try to reach in or double team every play. On offense I play a little more fast-paced looking to create off turnovers or if its not there, pull it out and work the ball around.

That is how I play, because thats what I am familiar with. However, this game is as close as some people will get to the court, or maybe their time has already passed so they run what they feel comfortable with. Either way, the game was made for the enjoyment of the user, and how they achieve that is up to them.

I hate all that gimmick/cheese stuff, but there is no way to regulate it. If I get beat by it, oh well... I just have to try and find a way to move the ball against it and score. It's possible and it's best to find the camera angle that lets you see the most of the floor... It does suck though, because no double team in real basketball works EVERY time. It's frustrating to see it happen all the time in 2K8.
