I just beat supercheebs. 6-5 with 2 seconds left in OT.

He was up by 2 with 40 seconds left but I kept it positive and came back.

I'd like to thank 2K for running this tournament and the TA for doing such a great job of keeping everything under control.

The rules state that only the top four players will receive prizes. The decision about Cheebs was made by our team, and we took it very seriously. As stated earlier, we were unable to prove that SuperCheebs was boosting wins since we do only have records from the previous five games.

Additionally, in previous tournaments, we have disqualified several people for cheating.

I haven't broken any controllers, but I have had 2 NHL 2k8 games scratch (luckily I bought gamestop insurance), and an xbox break all during the first 2 weeks of qualifications. I had to go out and buy another xbox just so I could continue on with the competition.

Here's my honest opinion

2K you should've disqualified GrA Matik Al in the first place, because he did not play a full 10 games. He played 3 games but the rest were quits. But yeah you don't care, you guys screwed up and I'm the victim here. Am I upset and angry? yes! because I wasn't able to give my all. Am I a sore loser? Yes because I had to play supercheebs twice. If I would've lost legitatemately in the tournament I wouldn't have cared. But it's events like this happening and that changes do need to come from 2K.

Conflict/Change Theory for instance. For every conflict there is change and I believe in it 100 percent. You guys make a very good hockey game and I'll be honest. But, maybe it's time to start monitering these online tournament games, disqualifying contestents more earlier than of late and having records for all games (from the start of the tournament to the end of the tournament), just not the past 5 games. I'm just trying to help you guys out don't see it as a lecture.

And SixDavies, chill out dude lol, but I have to agree with you. They locked my previous post and I'll just leave it at that. I guess freedom of speech and freedom of expression doesn't pertain to this online community.

I've always known that through education and seeing it with my very own eyes. You can't take corporations for what they are.

And yes I joined the tournament out of free will, knowing that I was going to give it a good run. Like I said before, if it was you in my shoes then you would know exactly what it feels like. And yes, 2K did everything they could after I filed the complaint, but, I don't think they did anything to make me happy due to the outcome they did not expect. But like you said, I did not have a gun to my head prior to entering the tournament. I had pride in my head knowing that I would give it 110 percent and do my best. I didn't expect to be cheated and that hurts dude. Yes, 2K did prove that they cared about what cheebs did. They cared about doing an investigation. But the outcome of the investigation is where the cold heartedness came in. I was hoping for some kind of consolation from 2K. "Yes Smookedawg, we see what has been done and we're very sorry. For that we will be doing this this and that that."
