I for one have no problem with genric players if you have a loaded football game

Here is a football game I like to see in 2k9
-Real Teams with fake players, I want to be "O, I'm playing the St. Louis Rhinos, I better watch out for Adam Bennett he is a real speed demon RB"
-Make only 16teams so you can make each team unique and gamers can know what the pluses and minuses are with each team.
-OPTIONS! More in-depth leaderboards and leagues and make the online more of a blast, with trades and features that blow us away.
-Franchise Mode, this will increase sales witch increase ratings witch increases sales, get it?
-Improve the graphic engine
-Advertise to everyone not just to thug-nation.


I'm on the fence about this one:
-Still have a create a team option but make them a little less powerful then the real teams. Kinda like the created, golds get 3abilities but transfer that idea into teams
I kinda like the thing in real football games cause you know what your up against and each team is more different. I felt created teams were different but not much different, other then gold/silver the teams were about the same.

I don't have a problem with the generics being more powerful, but they should still pale in comparison to the stars. After all, these are real NFL players we are talking about. These guys were the best of the best at their time.

The only reason I bought this game, and the only reason I am on this board is because of the legends, if they take those off, although I like you guys, I won't buy the game, and I will leave the board, sorry, but its the truth.

I wouldn't buy it either if it didn't have the legends, but I think the original poster's point was that generics need to be dangerous too; not just players who fill out the roster.

The generics are dangerous. My last game against a high ranked player I scored 3 generic TD's. One with a WR one with a RB and one on an interception for a TD with a generic LB.

No way I would buy this game without real nfl players. Playing with the greats and signature moves is what makes this the best game ever
