i don't sim....and i don't cheese...i just play to win and for fun. I don't follow any rules...but i don't abuse anything....my team gets hot from 3 i am launching them....but that doesn't happen everytime. i use the same team every year...the louisville cardinals....and that's the only team. I don't use the highest rated team on the game for that year and claim to be good. Anyhow....how many of you out there are like me. NOT A SIM PLAYER...NOT A CHEESER....JUST SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN

I pretty much like to play as sim as possible. If i double team you i won't press X to get the cheap steal but hope maybe it will make you make a bad pass. I really don't double team because all it really does is get my D out of position unless you are going to steal it. If i get hot from three then of course i'm going to jack up as many open 3s i can take but it doesn't mean im not still going to try to get the ball into the post, but if i'm hot from 3 and my opponet keeps leaving me open then i'm going to shoot it. I think it would be fun to have a group of people that play where they don't do all the little glitch things maybe even if you double team steal (because if you do then you pretty much always get the steal) they would just do a quick back court knowing that they really didn't deserve the steal they just pressed LB then X i mean my 6 yr old cousin could do that all day. But just because you jack up 3s doesn't make you not sim. Look at the mid majors that have done good in the tourny the last few years they weren't inside teams they can't be against teams that they are playing the just have to be able to shoot.

I wonder why... last year florida was by and far the best team. like 90 overall and 90 unity. I've played people who acted like they just picked up the game (I was using the Illini) and they were able to give me a decent game just because they were florida.

I use Oklahoma State because i go to school there, and I have only played against Louiville. And so far i havn't beaten them yet, they are just better. I refuse to play as Kansas being they are one of our rivals, and well my aunt and late uncle RIP work for Duke so i have gone to their games for years so i don't really like NC. no team is a cheese team, 1st off. there are just teams CHEESERS prefer to use. like usc because MAYO/indiana and GORDON, gtown because of HIBBERT, kansas because chalmers has 99 steal rating and robinson has 86, easy to double and get cheap steals.

good point...those that are going to win the pontiac are those that have the time to be online practicing....i will try it this year...but i have a job and a family and just enough time to get in a couple games after work most nights. there is cheesing but some ppl go overboard about it. Double teaming is cheesing. doing pick and roll all the time is cheesing. Some ppl say pressing is cheesing even when u dont double on it or when u throw an ally on a fast break now i dont believe that is cheesing. Do yal agree or disagree?

there are some games where i should 30-40 3s and others where im lucky to shoot 10
leave me open and im gonna shoot it
if you wanna stop it then turn the pressure to high on the player that way there is always someone in their grill
its part of the adjustments you have to make ingame to be successful

however, obviously the double teams are whack.
and if any of you played nba live 06 like we play up here at college (no one has a 360) then you would see the press is 10x more ridiculous to beat, even with no traps. suck it up and take the hits in that regard.

Anyone else think that Wazzou got absolutely jipped in terms of ratings. They are a top ten team in real life yet they are like 79 or 80 in this game. I was looking forward to playing with them this year because of theyre defense but I had to go to UAB because they are rated higher.

I play however I would in real life (I play highschool basketball). I won't double team all of the time but when I see a great opportunity I will take it.

btw I am not just a fan of KU this year because of their great rating. I live in Kansas and plan on attending KU when i qraduate from highschool.

It not that fact that people are hating on KU. Its the fact that many of the glitchers use KU because of their quickness and steals. And that is why many people will drop you before the game starts.

But also, a lot of people dont want to play with the best teams. It wasnt fun playing with Florida last year and its not fun playing with Kansas or Memphis this year. They are to good. People like the challenge of playing with unfamiliar teams, teams that they know of by name but not well, Bradley BYU Utah Chattanoga. Its more fun having to try to compete rather then being able to play a bench better then most of these teams.

played some bum today, i was rider, he was indiana and had homecourt, had my backups in the game in the second half beating him (which on rider is like a 61 overall talent, with starters playing they a 73) and then he starts d-team glitchin me when I extend the lead to 9. Needless to say, when your Rider, its not hard to have the d-team glitch effect your performance, scores a 3 and a 2, down 4, momentum kicks in. I got my starters in, hes still glitchin, I steal the ball down 2 with 30 secs left, my starters dead tired cuz they played the whole first half and my pg slow anyway, catches up to me with eric gordon at his foul line and on-ball defends me, forces me into a double team cuz theres no one to pass to, game over.

after the game he has the nerve to tell me im a sore loser because i told him that it would have been a better game if he didnt glitch his way to victory. I told him if it was really about winning I would have picked someone better the Rider to play with, and with my shiitty mid-major I still had him beat until he glitched me. what a moron
