This wishlist was for EA but EA doesn't really care about it's fans or what they have to say.

-Different gloves sizes for sparring, amateur bouts and pro bouts
-Create-A-Belt For online leagues
-Layers for the created boxers
-More skin tones
-Need to have year end awards, a monthly magazine that tells about title fights in each divisions, rapid climbers on the ranking lists and special stories
-a large judge pool and the judges should judge on different criteria: some like the total punches landed, some like power punches landed, some will always favor the champ, etc.
-MIKE TYSON(at least a fighter that fights identical to Tyson's style;Tyson doesn't own his style of boxing)
-No taunting after a knockdown unless it's triggered
-2 or 3 different versions of some fighters....them in their prime and past
-Include leagues in online play
-More venues in the game
-Storylines and Rivalries(better rivalries and situations that trigger them)
-FIX THE HAYMAKER

-Can move to a different Country for different opportunities
-As an Amateur you start at the age of 15 can stay up till 35 then you have to turn pro
-Depending on which country you're from you can turn pro before age 17
-Make entrances more realistic like on TV meaning make the boxers surrounded by their corner men by walking behind the boxer and patting his shoulder or rubbing him. Make the camera angle look cinematic. Make all boxers have robes on in their entrances except for boxers who don't have them
-Sparring with different fighters offers different results. But sparring also just lets you get a feel for your opponents style. So this way it would be more to your advantage to choose a well balanced gym along with a well rounded trainer...all depends on your preferences though, and of course what is available

RATINGS
* Power-Determines how hard your overall punches are. This also effects the individual punch stats.
EX: If Power is 80 and Cross power is 100 then the Cross will do full damage.
*Hand Speed-Determines how fast your punches are.
*Foot Speed-Determines how fast your footwork is.
*Upper body Speed-Determines how fast you can move upperbody.
*Defense-Determines how good your defense is.
*Body-Determines how well you take it to the body.
*Chin-determine if the boxer gets up from a KD.
*Durability-determines how much damage you can take before you start to visit the canvas.
*Heart-determine if the boxer "gives up" like taking a knee and not getting up, or how hard they fight when they are clearly losing.
*Technique-Determines how compact or wide your punches are.
*Stamina-determines how long it takes before you get fatigue.
EXAMPLES
Power stat:
Lower than 50 - punches as hard as Cory Spinks
50 - average puncher
60-70 - decent power
80 - good pop in punches can KO with a well timed punch
90-95 - Power punchers like Pacquiao, V. Klitschko, Mayorga, etc.,
96-98 - Marciano, Foreman, Tua, etc.,
99-100 - "Fists of God" one hit its over, your breaking ribs, jaws, arms, everything.
It should be damn near impossible to get either 99 or 100.

HIGH CHIN RATING & LOW DURABLE RATING will cause the fighter to go down much quicker then usual but really won't be be hurt. So you'll basically be more accessible to Flash Knockdowns.
LOW CHIN RATING; HIGH DURABLE RATING will cause the fighter to be more easier to hurt and be "out on his feet" but he won't fall so easy. He'll be more accessible to stoppages by the ref.

What sucks in previous boxing games is how they play like a SF type fighting game with the stamina... where you chip away the fighters stamina until it's low enough for you to blow on them to knock them down. How about a Boxing game with one punch knockouts? or one where a sick combo that lands has your opponent trying to fend off the knockdown... and only a few more nicely timed shots has him kissing the canvas! Enough of the AI being retarded and having to drain the Health meter down all fight. A Health meter should drain QUICKLY or altogether on the perfectly timed punch combo if they are power shots. We want a spontaneous and UNPREDICTABLE boxing game... where just that one critical shot can be the difference in the fight and the reason for upsets ala Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson.

I'm pumped for this game.... as long as it's going to innovate in the GAMEPLAY Dept. All the career stuff sounds cool etc... but we won't care if the boxing doesn't play REAL!
I liked the first Rocky game kinda... but it better be a zillion times better engine for this one! And what's with Don "The FIX" King being involved with the game? Are we going to be able to fix fights and take dives? Do some Rhymes that make no sense?
Can't wait for Pete Rose Baseball and Micheal Vick Football!

I want you to take ea's idea of styles and do it right for instance I think the parry system is overly abused if your fighter works off the jab that is what he should be able to do I mean I think speed also is under utilitzed in fn3 power equates for everything because you hardly have a fight go the distance instead throw haymakers or as many punches as you want when fighters just don't do that to often I have people quit online bec they find my fights boring but I'm like I'm here to win rounds first, also more clinches and inside work think of hopkins and how he works for some fighters. I wouldn't also mind some phantom punch knock outs for punches that are not seen bec it does happen ask roy jones when he fought tarver but not to often. also maybe rare cuts from headbuts but take a story mode where you are actually challenged by up and comers and a title defense mean something but make different fighters act and play different even though fight night tried the fights offline feel quite similar and once you know what to do its easy to beat the computer. Also maybe you can get some professional trainers.

add a diverse amount of training exercises not just 3 or 4 that force one or two attributes to grow at a time. training is a key part to any boxer's routine and if they're too limited they can kill the momentum of the career mode. victorious boxers 2 is a good example of where to look as far as options. it gives the player freedom to control how they work at their own risk. if they do too much and over train they pay for it in fatigue or minor injuries for example.........................
the career mode has to have depth outside of the ranking system. rivalries or build ups to big fights or perception of your fighter should be interactive in booking fights and how much you get paid. if you're a hometown fighter and have some hype you might get larger purses than if you travel for example. if there is going to be a promoter option allow the player to be in the role of a promoter like a franchise mode of sorts. allow the player to pay the fighters in their stable, set up fights, set up the venue, split the purse, recommend trainers or cutman to benefit fighters or give the player options to be crooked and try to fix fights.....................
have solid customization for created fighters. every factor in a fighter's physical build should be able to be tweaked such as reach, height, weight etc..................have physical characteristics have some weaknesses and advantages to balance out gameplay. that's been a huge problem in most boxing games. if a guy is tall they may have more difficulty learning to in-fight or if a guy is too muscular they may move slower or gas easier as the fight goes on; every fighter should have some limits that can be exploited outside of their boxing style...........................
one thing that's never been in a boxing game is the option to pick the size of a ring. ring size plays a huge role in certain fights. the bigger the ring the more likely a guy who counter punches and creates distance may have an advantage in strategy, the smaller ring might benefit an aggressive volume puncher since there is less room for mobility...................

Haymaker is my biggest request fix it or just don't have it. Also more belts! Need to have at least four belts one for all the major sanctioning bodies. WBC, WBO, IBF, WBA. Also for career mode please have more actual fighters not 60 generic people. Also please unlike fight night don't make me fight someone I have already beaten five more times.

Knockout Kings 2001 for the Playstation was a pretty decent game and it shows that EA is capable of making a good boxing game if they really wanted to. The problem is they know people will buy their product anyway so why spend the time and effort it takes to make something great when the EA fans will buy whatever they make.

Career mode

-Start ur career when ever u want, such as if i want to fight with the current De La Hoya with 5 loses or the De La Hoya that just came out of the olympics.
-------If u start ur career in the present have all fighters with their real record ex..Floyd and cotto undefeated Hatton one lose etc.

-Have all my CABs that i want on career mode with the attributes i gave them PLEASE!! HAVE UR CABS BUILD THEIR ATTRIBUTES BUT ONCE THEY ARE IN THEIR PRIME LET THEM HAVE THE ATTRIBUTES I GAVE THEM. ( I HATE TO HAVE TO FIGHT FLOYD LATER IN MY CAREER AND HAVE HIM WITH 70 SPEED AND 6 LOSES WHEN HES ONLY 24)
-have a ref in the ring instead of a bikini card girl lol

-Have more than one title per division ( i dont like it in real life but lets be realistic)

-Make training like the Football 2k series where u schedule everydays training and schedule time for PR events

-Have realistic body types for each division ( no 300 pound looking guy in Welterweight)

-Stay as an Amateur as long as u want, improving ur attributes (the Con about that if u stay there too long once ur a pro ur already old.)

-Have more venues ( they dont have to be all real, have various club arenas)

-NO LEGEND IN CAREER MODE!!! (unless u choose to be a fighter from a past era)

-Have ring tear ( if u take a lot of damage in ur fights u get worn out ala-Gatti, If u dont ala- Oscar)

-HAVE A NEWS BULLTIN!! To see whos on top of each division and whos fighting who. I want to be able to see every divisons fighter and their record and results.

- Be able to jump weight divison whenever u want. Having the bullitin makes u go fight the best of other division or fighter ducking fighters so they jump ship. BUT U CAN ONLY JUMP DIVISION BY ALTERING UR TRAINIG REGIME AND DIET.

-Working on more specific things, weight, jab , hooks, movement, defense, power etc.

-Have a ton of more trainers each having different atrributes (defense, power punching expert, speed expert, Big Name Trainers for better PR)

-Have contracts negociations, on ref, venue, gloves, money

-Be able to challenge any fighter whos ranked 10 spots above u or below u. ( but of course u have to negotiate and can get rejected due to ur ranking. ) and have top ranked fighters sometimes accept ur challenge as they see u as a tune up.

-Be able to quit, because the beating ur taking can shorten ur career drasticly, or have ur trainer stop the fight since ur getting killed.

-Be able to schedule interviews with local and national radio and TV as well as magazines and newspapers. ( but u do too much of this, it gets in the way of ur training)

- Popularity due to interviews, ur record and the types of wins and loses that u've had.

-When u retire u can go in Promotor mode and recuit fighters and be able to fight as ur fighter.

When u retire have a highlight reel of ur career.

Game play and Presentation

- no Parries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Have flash knockdowns and Knockouts

-not so many knockdowns and when there is let them fall realistic not like they got witha bat ( how does a fighter who acts like it got shot in the head get up?)

- Have the ref stop the fight when a fighter is still standing and not responding.

-If a fighter is hurt have him un-steady on his legs.

-STAMINA, STAMINA, STAMINA!!

- Robes!!!

-entourage holding belts!

- choose how u want ur fighter to act as hes coming to the ring.

-Have the realistic introduction ( announcer says ur name record nickname and where u from how many times champion)

- Have the ref final intructions in the middle of the ring.

- When u win have by KO have ur corner come and celebrate with u, and the doctor and the rother trainer with the loser.

- Have a split screen of both fighter when the fight goes to the scorecards.


thats all i can think of for now, but if i had a game like this id probably die of starvation and lack of sun lol

- Holyfield Boxing/Greatest Heavyweights (Sega)

- KO Kings 2001 (PS and PS2)

- Victorious Boxers and the Japanese Version of VB 2 on PS2, and "Boxers Road" on PSP

- Title Bout Championship Boxing for PC (mostly a text sim, but lots of good ideas for different fighter stats, etc.)

- And of course, the good things you can take from all 3 Fight Nights, but please don't continue any of their bad habits! (silly parries, unbalanced styles, way too few boxer stats, ridiculously horrible career mode, non existent true one punch KO's, etc.)

these are some really great requests. i hope that xbox360 can handles all of these things we want and more.

i want overall punch realism. it doesnt matter who i face.
if my request have been said before here please forgive me for repeating them.
i would like the game to have a very indepth create a boxer in it.
i want to be able to create his stance indepth. i want to create how he punches in every punch he throws. i want to be able to punch from every position he might be in. even a defense position. like cuss tought mike tyson how to do. when he slipped a punch he was in a position to land a punch also. THAT IS ULTIMATE BOXING SCIENCE!
i want to be able to create how he slip and blocks. how he moves and steps.
i want to be able to train him on his balance too.

when a fight is happening i want to here the ref says things like " dont hold him, let him go, watch your heads, keep em up, ". . . and when the bell rings i want him to say TIME!!!

i want to hear the trainers reacting better to what is going on in the fight with passion.
i really dont want to deal with the outside of the ring life of the boxers so i can have more control training, managing, negotiating my fighter.

gameplay in these things is a must

PROS a very flashy and exciting way of stopping a fight!
now the way to balance it out so it wouldn't be a cheese
is every time u connect helps u sustain ur attack and makes it difficult for ur opponent 2 be able 2 punch back the more he gets hit resulting in either da corner or the ref ending fight

CON this will be a serious drain on ur stamina especially if u miss with ur punches to da point where u would literally tire ur boxer out to where it would be extremely hard to move and avoid incoming shots

also since this intended to close out a fight if tried to do this multiple times in fight the amount of stamina drained would multiply accordingly so the more u cheese with it the more energy u lose.

of course the attributes of the boxer would tie in heavily the faster hand speed of a boxer the faster the flurry so thier would be a real difference between some one like Mayweather and Jeff Lacey also since obviously the guy doing the flurry is being the aggressor u being the guy on the receiving end would have to be strategic or lucky with ur counter attack time ur shots correctly and knock him out of the flurry and potentially swing the momentum in ur favor and start ur on flurry ala Castillo vs Corrales the 1st fight of course!

Some awsome ideas you got there poetic, hope they are taking in ideas from fans and including them.
Anyway got a couple of my own i've been thinking bout for a while.

The KO/KD - I know i lot of people including myself don't want (visable) health bars but the fact is the game has to have so way of determining when enough damage has been done to KO someone so in a sense there allways going to be there. But i think they should work so much different to FN an idea i thought of and i'm sure others have is to have a long term and short term health in the fight so instead of it feeling like you've just got to land X amount of shots to KO your opponent it gets a little more interesting. For example if you land a really good shot/combo on someone there short term health is either going to be completely depleted (meaning you put them down or out) or real low meaning there going to be dazed or winded there legs are going to be wobbly presenting you with the dilemma of rushing in spending a lot of gas trying to finish the fight and possibly getting caught yourself or taking a more composed approch picking your pucnches not getting careless which obviously will give them more time to recover. (obviously the outcome is based on your timing/power where shot has landed their chin etc...).

In the career mode in FN i reallyy hated how all you have to do is keep completing the training games and your stats going up and up and how one fight you can pretty much be joe frazier and the next ali (stylewise). So i thouht bout something different how about as an amateur you get say 10/12 fights and how you fight determines your maximum stats so if you mainly box on the outside using your footwork and jab when you turn pro thats the kind of fighter your going to be. I dont think they should be set in stone however but it should just determine your base and potential stats, but i dont think it should be like FN where you start out with 10 speed and through a couple years training it'll go to a 100. Instead it should off fairly close to your potential but you wont be as effective with it e.g less accurate but eventually through experiance and trainig you'll improve.

Finally cause i'm sick of typing I think as you progress through your career you'll be known for your signature punches e.g you often knock out people with a left hook the commentators will acknowledge it or your known for taking a lot of punishment i just think little touches like that would just add a little personality to your character and even make the commentary more realistic.

Well thats bout it I'm sure i could think of plenty more but can't be bothered right know thanks for taking time to read and i'd like to here anyones thoughts/improvements.
