I've got to say I've been a big fan and supporter of the 2K series. However in November I bought a PS3 and picked up MLB07 The Show. Instantly addicted. The game play is outstanding and its easily the most realistic baseball game out. After playing 2K7 on the Xbox 360 the whole year The Show certainly doesn't out do it graphically, but it was only the first next gen effort. Well after seeing some screen shots on a Playstation blog, I think MLB08 The Show is about to close the graphics gap. I know this a 2K forum and I'm certainly not going to bad mouth the 2K series especially since they haven't released too much info about 2K8 yet and I am still a fan of the 2K series, but I think 2K8 will be a renter, at least at first and MLB08 The Show will be a buyer right away. yea i read that... i wish i woulda bought a PS3 ... because baseball games are basically my only game i play through a WHOLE season... im even playing 2k7 still .. but in MLB the show do all the players have pics .. like did Geovany Soto and Mike Fontenot have pics in the show after they started playing ... or do they still not have pics ?

Dude your just like me its scary besides the cubs lol im telling u do what i did trade in the 360 if baseball is your main concern. My 360 broke down (go figure) and ever since its felt like a blessing in disguise. I wanted a PS3 to begin with but i couldnt find one anywhere last winter. but yeah u dont want to miss out on the show especially 08 from the looks of it. Sony has 2k baseball on the ropes right now there better be some good retalation with 2k8 or this baseball tittle just isnt going to do well plain and simple. the show garunteed u wont be disapointed and if u can live without gears of war and halo and your more for the sporting games especially baseball like me get a ps3 and have more options when it comes to sports games.

Just stop and think: One baseball game? or 2 Baseball games! I know im going with 2 even if it costs u an annoying day of trading in and exchanging things its what 3 hours between driving there trading in getting some games and going home. dooo iiiit :)

Yeah I just checked it out, looks like a pretty sweet baseball site. ts not just for the Cubs, they have forums for every team there I guess.

I just looked at the graphics and thought that your picture on there was sweet. Looks like they have one for every team within their team's forums.

The Cubs and Reds went into battle today, and the Cubs escaped with a win. The Reds got out to an early lead when Ken Griffey JR. hit 2 homeruns within the first 4 innings. One a solo shot, the other a 2-Run Bomb.

Later into the 6th inning the Cubs sparked 4 hits and ended up scoring 3 runs. Into the 7th the game was tied until Aramis Ramirez was up with 2 on. A 3-RUN BOMB OVER GRIFFEYS HEAD IN RIGHT.
