HEY MAN DON'T KNOCK THE GAME BEFORE IT IS COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU ADJUEST THE SLIDERS ON THE GAME YOU CAN MAKE THE GAME PLAY THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO.I PLAYED A SEASON AND WON THE WORLD SERIES. THE SLIDERS REALLY DO WORK IF YOU DON'T LIKE A LOT OF HOMERS.

adjust the sliders
Yeah that helps a lot.
We shouldn't have to mess with the sliders to have more realistic game play.Don't they test the game before they release it?How could the default sliders get by them?Their way too unrealistic!

Well, you shouldn't have to, but if it works and it's what you need to do to enjoy the game, what is the problem. 2K7, though with plenty of flaws, was a huge step from 2K6. I will say that 2K8 will be interesting since I actually see some hope in the game engine. Since Kush came as the developer for 2K5, I didn't see a lot of hope for the series. 2K7 would mark the first game from Kush where I went, "They might be able to build upon this". I think 2K8 will provide a very good game of baseball this year. The 2K8 series has been very simulation based, so I hope they keep this years trend.

you cant adjust sliders for a lobby game. It sucked that no matter what you did if someone was using classic control then you could expect to give up 5 plus homers.

They need tot take the options away for ranked games. You shouldn't be able to make the game easier if you're playing a ranked game. It doesn't make sense, but Kush seems like it's a good idea. If they want to allow users the classic batting option, then reduce the options you're allowed with it. It takes no skill to hold up and press "A". I always thought they should make the button hitting just like the Swing Stick. You should have to time your step-in by pressing and holding "A" and releasing it to swing, just like how the swing stick is done. However, with classic hitting, the step timing is always optimal. How is that okay?

fix them yourself.everyone has there own skill level.there not gonna bother trying to make it Realistic to you so you can strike out with vlady and still complain the game aint realistic.Sliders are there for a reason.try looking at them

I am not against sliders, but there is no excuse to release imbalanced games, especially when you are practically exclusive(and they are for 360)......

This is hard for me to say because I have been with the 2K series since way way way back in the day, but Kush doesn't make significant changes to the gameplay this year, I may have to go with Konami's sequal to Pro Yakyu Spirits 4 (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/18174&type=wmv.html?id=18174&type=wmv)
That game owns all...

Yeah I know and I do use realistic sliders...But when they give us a game with what, 4 different difficulty settings?> and all of them are unrealistic...We got a problem! It either means they didn't test them or they know nothing about baseball.
They need to start testing the default sliders or start watching baseball to get the right idea of how real baseball is played.
lol..Why put out an over the top baseball game like "The Bigs" when you can play MLB2K7 on any of the 4 default settings?

KONAMI KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A BASEBALL GAME. if you ever played bottom of the 9th for ps1 youd know that. that game was prob the best and most realistic baseball game ive ever played. no lie. i wish konami would/could make a mlb game. it would def own anything that 2k or sony puts out. that trailer is everything that 2k isnt. see the emotion and the fans waving flags in the background. and if they japs play and love, you know its legit.

I couldnt stand to play online, while i was trying to play a realistic game, 9 out of every 10 opponents opened up homerun derby on me. I gave up after a few weeks of this and took 2k7 back. I hope its not a hr derby again this year!

It's a bit silly to say you won't buy one game because the previous version was below par, but then I don't care much either way.
Oh, I just won an auction for Pro Yakyu Spirits 4, for roughly $35 shipped. Can't get much better than that.

why is there always ppl come on the forums and say im not buying this game, this game sucks etc etc..
f y i - 2k7 was a whole lot better than that c-r-a-p that was 2k6, imo it was a step in the right direction, yes there was alot of things wrong like way too many homers, all we can hope is that 2k8 which had a whole year to develop carries on from 2k7 in improvement, we will see..
