i personally felt floyd fought alot like hopkins in that hatton fight. The staight right hands down the middle while ducking in between arms are old school moves that only hopkins & roy used......floyd grabed under the arms of hatton instead of over the arms & these are hopkin stlye of moves that keep you safe on one side of your body. DAME i was impressed by floyd...

Yeah, but I want to say one thing real quick about the fight. First of all, as I said at the press conference, there's no doubt or controversy that Floyd Mayweather is the guy right now. There was no doubt before, but this just confirmed that he stepped up mentally. From a fighers point of view, mentally and physically and spiritually together. He didn't get rocked to sleep because he had a guy who was coming up from 140 pounds. He didn't figure that the only thing he'd have to do was go in there and hit him with one shot to get him out of there because I'm Floyd and you're Hatton. He took all those three things I just mentioned, mentally, physically and spiritually and understood that he had to perform at a level where you can get overconfident or not prepare physically or mentally. You know physically he would be ready, but mentally for a hard fight and I'm repeating what Floyd said at the press conference. It was a hard fight that he had to think it out and execute at the same time."
