^Man eldogg i gotta agree with you. I was checking this board a couple of times a week just knowing i would see a screenshot or something by now. I just decided to sign up today and see what exactly is going on with this game, and apparently not much since they announced it back on Dec. 10th.

I guess the secrecy could mean one of two things:

1. The game is truly SPECTACULAR in graphics, modes, gameplay, and presentation and they don't want to give EA ANY type of ideas to steal for Fight Night 4.

2. The game is lousy, isn't nearly as good as first advertised in the announcement, and they don't want to show any screens or videos until the very last second for fear that it may turn people off.

Either way, they're only hurting US! THE FANS OF 2K!

Toma, if you see them ask if they can get the rights to any of the fighters that are in the Fight night games or if they are off limits.

It'll suck if that they are off limits or whatever and they can't use them since EA has them. That'll mean no Hopkins, Jones, Toney, Ali, Frazier, Patterson, Holyfield, Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, De La Hoya, etc. God that would suck hard.

Like say if Fight Night has the Mayweather (or any other boxer's) license, maybe when the contract expires, 2k can use the likeness and make it available for download via xbox live or something?

I doubt they'd do anything like that. Probably take away some thunder from the sequel, if the game is financially successful enough to warrant one.

if any of the rumors are true about 2K having "all these problems," as per somebody on these boards claims (which I think is just an excuse because he can't deliver the promise of getting all the new info about Prizefighter, and he's trying to promote his own website but doesn't have the goods) then I think it makes perfect sense why the PS3 is being left out. But if this game turns out to be great and sells, I'm sure a PS3 version would come out a few months later.

I don't have any official sources but I was involved somewhat in the NHL community for NHL08. One of the EA reps in charge told another member there (and admin for ConsoleSports.net) that it was too early to talk about FNRd4 but that there was a team in Vancouver still working on it. He made it sound like the game was coming out this spring still but no info could be released.

That was before Christmas so who knows if anything's changed. I hope FN is still being produced. They finally got rid of that asshat Kudo so I was expecting good things.
