man,
i am extra excited about this game!! i would go over to peoples house for get togethers, and whats always on the TV? madden or FN3!!:thumbsdow
i cant stand it!! EA has created sooo many zombies in the world. i try to put people on to
2k games, but they cant grasp realism, i dont know what it is.
i watch them ooohh and awww at fight night, FOR WHAT???!!!! they look like they are dancing the whole match, swerving from front back left and right, :rotfl: its not boxing!!
i would love to see some sick animations in the game, like study how the real boxer moves in real life, like the way he bounces around the ring and throws punches. i know fight night says they have signiature style, but lets be honest, that game is horrible!!:thumbsdow
i hope the game is fast pace and lets you move around the ring pretty well, fight was more of a slugfest until someone fell, ther was no stategey involved to me what so ever!!
what do yall think? can anybody hear me???

Signature style has been 2K Sports motto as of late. How SICK a boxing game would that make... wow.

yea this is why i wanted someone else to make a boxing gmae.in fn you basically are slugging it out with no thoughts until someone falls.i don't want no hud at all and its too predictable on fn.on fn up to 3 knockdowns will make them lose usually.i want a game where it just depends how hard you hit them,if i got him well then he should be ko'ed with just 1.in fn they do let you hit them while they are falling but it is useless because it doesnt do extra damage.also if i am hitting the boxer a lot then the ref should stop the fight.

 i like that, i think thats a hot idea. on AP football, you hold a to charge up for big hits and turbo.
i think maybe a charge button would be sick, charge up your puch for like 1 big hit, or charge then keep tapping for like a 3, 4 or 5 punch combo burst!! body blows and head shots!!
man! you get somebody in the corner and just start woking him for the upper hand!! im getting excited as if thats really gonna happen, i hope it does though

FINALLY! Someone who saw Fight Night just the way i saw it! I'm with ya all the way on this one Bro! Fight Night was a JOKE! And i bet that people are going to finally admit that when they see this game! 2K is known for it's realism in their sports games, so why should this game be any different? I think their reputation is on the line here and they may lose some fans if they screw this up because a lot of people did not like the Fight Night series and couldn't wait for 2K to make a boxing game, so this is probably 2K's biggest chance to put a serious beatdown on EA Sports! Plus, they go out and sign the biggest promoter in the history of boxing (maybe sports period) to launch this game! I think this game is gonna be just plain SICK!

fn3 was a good attempt. i like the punch meters on rocky legends. you have to pace yourself and it make for good ring and gaming combat. this game needs to have that also. it needs to have something this you will need a game plan just like real boxers need in boxing when facin an openent. and the trainers need to push that plan between ronds to the fighters. the refereee needs to be in the ring during the fight just like wwe games do. i dont care about sweat. blood and cuts need to be there. swelling needs to be real also. no way should a fighter be sweeled up in round 2 from taking good punches. oh and also let us use our own music for ring entrances. forget about analog stick punching and haymaker crap. the best parrying i have seen is in fn 2004. it also had the best punching along with virtual boxers. i dont care about healing the cuts between rounds. i think u should have a hud on screen if you want it. on this board i read where this will look much better than the rocky games. but will it crush fn3 graphics??? cant wait!!

the one thing I'll give fight night credit for is incorporating defense even though victorious boxers gave angles and momentum more of a strategic balance than fight night ever did...............
fight night was decent game but not a sim. the gameplay was too linear and after the first game favored people who didn't have to learn it and could button mash. it's all well and good if you want a broad audience but give experienced players a reason to keep playing. all fight night games got stale do to limited AI, limited career mode, and limited innovation in fights and presentation, every fight is basically the same thing over and over again.....................
2k may stumble on some elements of their first boxing game but it'll be good and will have a true feel to it like every other sports game they make does................
2k generally does quality work for its base and is open to ideas and innovation. 2k gets a method and improves it instead of making the same game dumbed down more and calling it a sequel..................
