Just to clear the air Dont compare the show to 2K

my rant of PS3 was about people who love baseball games and being able to play both if baseball is your favourite type of game you really should own a PS3 because you're missing out with a 360. im not comparing the two games im basically just saying why nto have both if you're really a baseball fanatic like many of us on here are.
Do i think the 360 is a good system not really but thats not what im talking about.
Do i think 2k sucks ? NOT AT ALL never said that once im looking forward to 2K8 all im saying is MLB the show is a great franchise and no die hard baseball fan should do without it ALONG with having 2K8 as well if one game is fun 2 games can be twice as much fun. if u get bored of one goto the other etc.. maybe one game has more featues u like than the other, but if u have a 360 u have no choice... its one baseball sim and thats it then theres the bigs which is great also but its not a sim/realistic.

just to add after reading my post and peoples comments, AGAIN im not involved with sony in anyway, my names Marcus I live in Guelph Ontario (about and hour from Toronto) Guelph is a city of 100,000 people its not too big theres no sony affiliates around here unless u count the Sony store at one of our malls, and I HATE that store mainly because u can get the same sony products they sell there at a best buy for ALOT cheaper.

I just think helping baseball fans not unlike myself should really get the same experience I will get, The Show is great and in my honest opinion I think it will be a LITTLE better than 2K8 but not by much. main reason i say that is cuz we all know last year it went like this:

The Show better gameplay worse Graphics

2K7 AWESOME graphics terrible gameplay.

Reports on 2K8 - They have Jose Reyes on the cover and gameplay was worked on dramatically.

Reports on the show - more in depth career and franchise, custom soundtracks and Better Graphics.

I still think 2K7 will look better than the show 08 meaning 2k8 will look better also but will it play better? possibly but even still why limit your options? why not have twice as much fun?

I just have a strong belief in things that make my life better like PS3 and like making people aware that its a safe and really GREAT move for the Die Hard Baseball fans like myself. (which most likely includes you if your on this board dying for news of 2K8 like I am)

I see what you are saying and I agree completely. I have a 360 but I am saving for a PS3 just for the show. I plan on getting 2k8 for the 360 (since it is most likely being built on the 360 and prolly will be ported over to the PS3) and I will get the Show for the PS3.

That is true it will most likely get ported over to PS3 I had 2k7 for both systems at first there was a noticeable difference but then sony had an update and it was the same game. however from what i hear PS3 being able to handle more, developers are finally starting to come around and relise its best to port to 360 from PS3. I dont know when or how long it will take for 2K to convert but EA finally is giving in. If your into the Burnout Series look up the new Burnout paradise they will have mentions of what i just talked about.
