Madden fan playing APF?!

Hey guys I just got this game today. Got it for a steal for 10 bucks at this Gamestop around my way.

So I'm playing this game and I must say.. If EA was smart they would steal some of the things used in APF in Madden and they would have a hands down better game but of course since we are dealing with EA they wont bother making a good sim football game.

So yeah APF is awesome! Dropping back in the pocket is NICE! Passing is exactly as it should be and I'm trying to get a better grip on running the ball and playing defense.

In Madden it's really difficult trying to play with the DB's (well for me at least) I always wanted to play with the Safties or Linebackers not just the linemen. It gets real boring.

So now Madden will only be touched by me if a tourney is coming up. GO APF!


I also do have a few questions and I hope you guys can find the time to answer them.

1) How do you do moves to get around the Blockers on Offense?
2) How do you pump fake?
3) How do you fake snap?
4) How do you charge the offensive linemen?

I'm playing this game on the 360 by the way.

1) HB's will run past the O-Line by themselves, no Mario running in this game like in Madden :)
2) Double tapp the button of the reciever you want to pump fake to.
3) B button is the cadence button
4) You cant charge offensive lineman unless you are playing as them.

The sad part is most Madden kiddies hate this passing. Let me start by saying I only play online, Madden 08 had the best passing to date for Madden on next gen. The coverage was so good kiddies couldnt run back 15 yards and complete passes.......then the kiddies complained.....and they released the darn patch. Anyway yes the passing is great in 2k8 I just wish more people played online!

but for the first question I'm not talking about the HB's

Like lets say your the D-line is their moves you can do to get pass the O-line? Like in madden you have the finesse button and the power button. Is there anything like that in APF?

I don't know how you can hate the passing game in APF. The drop back is GREAT! and in Madden you can't really drop back unless you let the computer do it for you which sucks..

You have to hold down your A button to do a charge move for Linemen. If he has a special move hold down A button until you fell your controller vibrate then use RB or LB or whetever they assigned that D-Lineman for Move. Also if you see any thing that say's second level charge or anything like that you cant do it without holding down your A button until it vibrates to use that feature. EX. Dan Marino QB has Rocket and Laser Arm and is cool to use but cant be used unless you hold down the A button like I explained.
