I never had a problem with you using d-line.. Button mash to get to me untill your fingers fall off for all I care. But the minute you use your defensive lineman to run a twist, he comes in untouched everytime against the pass. It's amazing how some of d-line users can't see this as a glitch.

And remember you told me you only do this against people that have Rice and Marinio, I wonder why? Maybe it is because you have to cause unrealistic pressure because your D is getting torched so badly.

Has nothing to do with being a sim nazi or following 100 sim commandments. It's about playing someone straight up and not using exploits. I bet if I used the same tactics you would not score a single point.

Yup that's the move. I hardly focus on the defensive line when I'm dropping back so when I get sack in 2 seconds I know it was because something unusual happens.

Think I'm being unreasonable? Valderez(Fanthom) uses a defensive linemen legitimately. He charges and uses the swim move. He got to me pretty fast with that move and I couldn't complain one bit, you know why? He didn't get in that fast on every single play. Cheers to him.

I have had one bad experiance witht hat twist move where the guy came in untouched 98% of the time it was rather brutal.

You can stop the twist line move by calling a protection in the direction of the manualy controlled player. So if he is controlling the DE on the left just call Pass Protect Left and the line will pick it up 95% of the time. Problem solved. I find it hard to make a big deal over something that is so easy to stop and in a very innocuous and simple way as well. But wait, tpat, won't he know when I am passing? Call the same protection stunt every play, run or pass and then he won't know. What could be easier?

The one that is really an exploit is the delay blitz with a LB because the O-linemen do not pick it up no matter what protection you call.

I apologize for turning this thread into a defensive line discussion. But hey I wanted to make it public because half of you dline users don't think what you are doing is wrong and it is just not needed if you want to be a sim player. Maybe you don't so just forget about it.

1. If there is a counter, I was unaware and will have to try it sometime.

2. I hope that wasn't referring to me? If it is: I use Rice on the deep ball the second the safety doesn't drop into 2 deep coverage. The bomb fest you are referring to is easily stopped with a 2 deep safety or decent blitz with bump and run coverage.

3. Don't compare to real life because it is pointless.

5. When you played me.. Your DE was fully charged with a clear path to the Qb, no move was used.

If your getting to much pressure run max protect and shorten your routes. I love when I see something new from an opponent because I love the challenge of trying to counter it. When I started seeing people use Goal Line defense to block FG's I figured out a way to get my Stars in FG formation to stop it. Use O-Line protection audibles to counter D-line or better yet use a Star on your Oline if your so concerned with Dline users. Wow who would have thought of using a Oline guy as a Star pick? To many people complain because they don't want to match up and use a star on someone they really don't want to use and then come on here and complain that they got cheesed. I can see Mike Williams and Run & PooP now com on here and complain that someone ran dives all game long when they had no Dline or LB's and call them cheese LOL. For the Record I don't use Dline

Glitches don't have counters, they have work arounds. I'm not sure if his glitch is stoppable yet, I will have to find out and I already apologized if it is not a glitch and can be countered. Read before responding next time.

Overall it was a good learning experience for us, the way future tournaments are run will benefit from this one.

I remember playing you right around the time of the gamestop tournament.

1st, of all I remember your team had 3 star TE's: Ditka, Coates and another one I can't remember. And no matter what formation you ran all 3 of them along with the star WR you had were always on the field, even if it was a 4 or 5 WR formation. This is a glitch in the game that you decided to exploit by doing illegal substitutions and putting TE's @ WR.

2nd, you dropped our game game right after I manually picked you off near the endzone and was already beating you by 2 scores.

3rd, you were far from good....the only time you even had anything positive happen was when you ran no-huddle.
