I've noticed lately that there have been new members to the the 2k APF community. They have been posting many many threads, and so I thought I would make a thread for people new to the game to ask questions. Then people who have played the game for a while can answer. This will also help elimanate the same threads being made over and over and over again. So ask away.

I'm going to update the FAQ at the 2K Football Strategy website, and then start a FAQ thread here. I'll try to get that done tomorrow during the tournament finals.

Just trying to help out people new to the community. We don't want to have them driven away from people who are unwilling to help.

cool. Im new so this is cool. Ok my ? is, How do u make a VERY good offense. I thought I would put in Berry Sanders, Jerry Rice, and Randel Cunningham (with 2 more wide receiver-tight ends) Is that a good offense or not. Give me some advice.

As you see, my team in my Sig is defensive, and I usuall win with them. I am 14-2 with them. When I first got the game however, I went heavy offense, because it takes a while to get the offense down. Once you figure out you like running or passing more, take out silvers and put in D players there and put Bronze WRs in. If you like passing more, get a gold WR and gold QB.

Tks 4 the suggjestion. Yeah I played the crap out of the demo to get the offense down. I like to run more than pass, but passing gets tempting. I have trouble on the D though. I try topower hit them and it rarely works. I know u hold the RS stick down then click it in, but why does it now work as much? They still get tackles just not hard.

anybody? Or do I just need to be more accurate with it?

I charge players up and use the X button. Or if you use the hit stick the following is how it works.
Pulling it down- Hits the player low- also for horse collars
Either side- Push towardss them for a reach tackle
Pushing it up- lays big hits, but is very innacurate.

Well. Most people do this on Defense
1. Get an All-Legend or Created Players Defense (LB-CB-S)
2. Control the Dlineman all game
3. Play on Legend
4. Let AI do everything on defense
5. Dont attempt one manual tackle

You should not control a Defensive lineman unless switching to make a tackle.
I quit playing this game because that is all we have left playing nowadays.
Sad part is they think they are good players:rolleyes:

Sad part is they think they are good players:rolleyes:There's nothing wrong with playing a D-Lineman as long as you play it legitimately, and use the abilities they have. I personally like using them. The Swim and Spin are awesome.
