Maybe because its not worth the hastle for them to port the game or buy the expensive PS3 dev units? You are right they don't want to make it. Its probablly not financially feasible for a new game to ask for such resources.

First of all, who said that Prizefighter "can't" be made for the PS3? You're right, they DON'T want to make it for the PS3 for the obvious reasons--higher development cost for a title that doesn't have nearly the funds of an NFL or NBA game; why waste the limited budget towards creating a buggy port when you can put the money towards refining the game? If 2K developed Prizefighter for the PS3, half their budget is going to be spent on just making the game work on the PS3. Fans could forget about getting the best possible game 2K could make. 2K right now is trying to overtake EA Sports through quality, not quantity. Quality is the best route for 2K to take instead of taking the massive marketing con jobs that EA does with each of their games.

Second, that "proof" you showed was just a target render, it was neither for the PS3 or the Xbox 360. That's hardly any proof of anything. Although it might flash "PS3" or "Xbox 360" at the end of the trailer, it means absolutely nothing to the final version of the game. You of all people should know that FNR3 for both the 360 and the PS3 looks nowhere close to the "real time footage" that was shown for E3 back in 2005. And when will PS3 owners ever learn that the PS3 really is inferior to the 360? I don't care how much a young Arnold Schwarzeneger (sp?) could bench and how many reps he could do and how much steroids he took, he'll NEVER win a fight against a much less physically impressive Fedor Emelianenko. If it was just all about specs, then good for the PS3, but when it comes to games, almost all 360 games look better than the PS3 versions. It would not be to 2K's benefit to tarnish what seems to be their flagship title in Prizefighter, by making an inferior version for the PS3. By the time the mythical "potential" of the PS3 finally gets tapped, as PS3 owners have been saying for the last year, the new versions of the Xbox 360 would've come out.

WOW!! that is interesting comparison to both consoles. i dont have either yet because the fight night did not temp me enuff to get either. but with prize fighter i am going towrads the xbox360. i have seen the graphics on the ps3 fn and the 360. i see that the ps3 fnr3 has more work dont on it than the 360 but i feel that it was a deal bewtween ea and sony for that extra something on the game. ps3 has exclusive titles and 360 also. the developwer decides what they want to do. dont buy the system if u dont want to . they arent forcing you to. if you want it . . buy it. i will wait for the demo to hit eb games or game stop to see it and try it. if it is not up to par. . . i wont buy either yet. then ea will try again with fn and the i will try again. if it is more simulation the arcade.. .i will buy. the choice is up to u. as don king would say it. . why exactly would sony waste money on a game that 2K is making? Any company making games for the ps3 right now is not even making money.

I kinda agree with you that they don't market well. They keeps things too secretive way too long and i think that it may hurt their sales sometimes. One reason why you see movie trailers of films 4 to 10 months in advance of the film's release date is to wet the appetite of the consumer and get a buzz going so people WANT to see that movie. The new Iron Man movie trailer has been out for a couple of months now, and the film doesn't come out until next May. 2K doesn't do a good job of this, and i think that kinda hurt All Pro Football. If you're going to announce a game coming out and give it's release date months in advance, don't wait 2 weeks before the game is due to come out before you release any details, videos, or screen shots, because a lot of people may have lost interest by then. That's really the only complaint i have about 2K.
